Imo this share has it all. Share graph says it all. Good exposure overseas. High quality profile. One negative - would like higher dividend.

Given the weak pound which will have a most positive affect on profits,5% + divi and world renowned name imo opinion these shares are terrific value.Every time i go down ftse100 looking for a buying opportunity i end up here or unilever.GSK wins due dividend. ATB.

Apologises for not replying sooner. GSK make a lot of profit in USA therefore if dollar strong , the profits to the Company in sterling will be substantially higher upon conversion and thus vice versa.Problem being such a high grade company there are a significant overseas owners,many in particular sold in America.Hence dollar lowering ,Americans may sell some..ADR,s in USA for as long as i remember. I was fortunate enough to know a Stockbroker in the mid 80,s and recall him telling me ,nobody ever got sacked for recommending GSK.I took his advice 30 years ago and they have beaten my over investments hands down. The very best with your dealings.

I felt the figure of £17.50 was very optimistic , but after seeing Mercks results just now I have to admit is could be possible.Nice if t happens.I also note share p rice is starting to recoup morning in th e last 20 minutes.

This probably one of the best high quality shares in the world.High yield,excellent R&D and the new products launched indicate a possible high price rise.Innovation,restructuring and exchange rates all imply a rosy future. I have been buying these shares for over 25 years and have only had profits.

Pfizer to buy GSK-another AstraZeneca debacle if ever i have seen one.MOney may be cheap but so is talk.Read is like a little boy in a sweet shop , he wants buy so much he gets confused and leaves the shop empty handed.Anyway does Pfizer have enough money to back their Grandiose ideas?Also GSK has more Phd,s and brain power. Now if Novartis came calling i would be more positive.They have the money ,have recently completed an ONcology deal with GSK,and have the skill to deal with National regulatory bodies where diplomacy is required. To conclude, ifeel i will stay contented with my 5.5% dividend and be happy.Might just buy a few shares just in case,cannot go wrong at theseprices anyway.

At this price,5.5% annual dividend for next three year is excellent .Strong fundamentals Plus additional 20p at end of this year. What has not been sold off, can be sold off at anytime . Pound down also means revenue returns up. High R&D only needs one winner.Take into account cost paring as stated by CEO and also quoted by "WatchMaverick" and 1 of the worlds top Pharmaceuticals are in my opinion rock solid buy.

Sold at 12p., will buy in again at 8/9pence if possible in the future.Shares to me going nowhere short term. Mr Greedy.

I find this company great craic.They are like the three monkeys,no info,no response to shareholders and no facts regarding possible dividends (we wish) or future contracts. Yet a lot of people like me keep buying shares.Are we deluding ourselves. I have no idea how to speculate on the value of this company-reason no information plus i am to stupid even if i had any information.This is not for widows and orphans and i recommend possible buyers think long and hard before doing so. My opinion large investors should sell before shares start to rocket. Small investors like me are entitled to get the 40p later this year. I need the profit and i don`t want others to spoil it.Therefore recommendation is STRONG SELL. Mr Greedy.

As a share holder in cop i feel they are over priced. 5/6 p would suit me better as i could buy a lot more and make more money. Sorry for writing this but i am only in shares for profit and i would appreciate if some of you sell. Thanks in anticipation. Yours, Mr Greedy.

Tate in my opinion are a rock strong short and long term hold.Short term price including dividend equals £8.43,i see £9.00 before October.Long term i see a excellent regular quality earner and dividend growth.Regrettably i do not have full details of company share buy backs, which i view as very important for an external bid.Currently i intend holding for my pension fund.I believe quality always pays.
