Trenners have a look at ASP1`s post and think what the income could be wthout SP reducing buybacks. I consider it often with a PE of 9 for Lloyds and a top ftse dividend we could be the Bee`s knee`s instead of dogs dinner.
Yet the great AHO and board of sleeping beauties continue to hide their option payouts supported by many fools here.

Fear not this PPi nonsense will be gone in 13 months,as long as cut off is not extended.I know i am negative at times but you are inherently correct.Long term this is a solid and very strong share.As you well know any Company results have to be tempered with the knowledge they are a brief snapshot at the end of a short business period.Year on year is what really matters and the 23% figure you quote is what a lot of businesses would die for.
Things will only get better and I guess what i mean to say is what you loose on the the roundabout etc,.
On PPi I have received 2 letters this week to claim which is a total nonsense,I often wonder about the legitimacy of these claims.
Whatever our options on this board the Market has taken the profits positively.Enough said.

No shouts to support the SP by market manipulation today.Seems even Asperger has seen the folly of his ways. Tomorrow the BoD should half the profit and return 2p per share, scrap the buyback and let people know they intend acting like a Bank by setting up an action committee to search for acquisitions as the first step in their expansion plan.(We of course know they have no action plan.)
Just a thought the City would go silly,and investors would say now look at how confident this Bank is of the future with Funds Managers baying to buy shares for the return.Possibly the SP could gain traction.
This won`t happen but is the way a real Company behaves.

Has anybody else heard of blast mining for Lithium? Yes I am aware that even in open cast mining blasting to move rock is beneficial, but given that Lithium is volatile and number 2 in the periodic table is it not normally extracted with the use of water power?
