LTI,what was obvious from the start was that the man that called the referendum was too big a coward to accept a democratic vote.
I believe he was a Tory and Leader of that party I would submit he lacked principle and honour.He was David Cameron and before and after he ran away the party have been fighting like cats in a sack.The party he left behind lost an election and are paying the DUP to stay in power,that plus the fact Mrs May has never won a national election of the people to stay in power does not say much for democracy under the Conservatives.
Given a freedom of conscience vote you will find that it is not only the opposition parties that will reject any Tory bill going through the Commons.By the way Mrs May wants to remain in the EU probably more than anyone but she is fully addicted to power and will sell her soul to retain it

Take AHO and his fellow directors they have done nothing exceptional, they have just sat in the middle lane and let the big salaries and bonuses rollin.Frankly they could not be doing less and their lack of ideas has caused Lloyds to stagnate and the fund managersl are keenly aware of it.Hence no big buyers of the shares and at best the same again.I believe it is called rinse and repeat.
But it keeps the feeble minded happy(and I do not include your goodself) with many averaging down waiting on the "big DAY" when fortunes will reverse.
Problem is when we leave the EU this share will go down a stone as there is no upside under this BoD.

I can assure you many are not so clever, the practice and law of Banking is well beyond most of them.
It was the Banks with multitude Directors that took the World to the edge almost 10 tears ago to the day.American mortgages and greed fought over by others to get their bundle with ever any due diligence and dismissing every rule in the books.Greed made them fools and I see them as stupid rather than clever.

Cannot agree with AHO using the snapshot Balance sheet method to hide labour costs in the profit and loss.This requires manipulation as I am sure you all know of the source and application of funds and is clearly beyond any of our Directors intellect.
Your closing comment on how the buybacks and the reason it has given out such negativety is imo spot on the money and the reason this share has been slowly sinking from its inception.Also it is more in line with the Directors ineptitude they have shown to the financial world.

Sorry this is to complicated a discussion for me.Over the years I have become more and more disappointed with our leaders.I have not voted in years for either of the big 2.They to me are in power for powers sake.There are exceptions but generally my belief is the best years for this Country and it`s people are behind us.Of course the power is there and just needs harnessing but who is going to even try and galvanise the effort required.
