What a great bunch of people they travel for hours every day to commute to work and believe they are so important and necessary for the United kingdom they do so happily and put up with noise, smells,exorbitant prices,excessive travel costs, eateries and pubs of low standards,dirt and high prices and this just to retain a job.Then they go back to rabbit hutches and persevere with low housing standards, nowhere for their children to enjoy playing and content themselves with television.They do have the occasional trips to Cinema,Shows,Opera and Ballet which do there turn going round the rest of the Country if they are really good for the us all to enjoy.If something exceptional is worth going to see we fly in and out at will, but this is a rare occurrence for most.In other words we have the benefits of the Capital when we pick and choose and none of the negatives.
I like many here can and have made lots of money through the London service community with only the odd need to go there,and can live a tranquil and mostly pleasurable life in the refined Countryside.
Please do not alert them to the fact they are hamsters on a wheel as they apparently silly enough to continue for the duration.Well done Londoners we really need you.

I totally agree with what you posted, the Chinese are fully committed to Battery vehicles whether they are full EV`s or Hybrid, our deal is with the Chinese and even if I don`t see any of them where I live the fact that the world`s most populated Country is good enough for me.The fact they got Elon Musk to build his biggest car factory,a man that has forgot more above battery vehicles than all on this site will ever know, endorses your opinion.

When I am calling a spade a spade have you read today`s Report from the CMA that for seventh time they will be writing to Lloyds highlighting once again the Banks inadequacy in handling PPI matters.Given that 20Billion pounds and more to come of shareholders money has been spent I would have at least expected AHO or an action committee to be making sure that a Government body like the CMA should be apprised of all matters pertaining to PPI.Oh no apparently this high flying Ceo is above attending to such major matters.
It is time some people woke up and stopped giving highly paid so called leaders a free pass for not doing their jobs.
If I had my way they would be shown the door and promptly at that.

Given the losses of PPI to shareholders AHO clearly shows he has his finger on the pulse.The man is a clown as the CMA has proven once again.Only thing to do is increase his salary and share bonus again to encourage him to do the job he is being paid for.I thought I would say it for the rent-a-fool mob that still sitting at the Con Conference.

Has anybody got reliable figures for sales on full blooded Ev`s.The reason I ask as whilst I know that everything"new" takes time to catch on I frankly am seeing a slight increase in hybrid`s but little change in full battery powered cars if at all.
As always we are never the fastest out of the starting blocks but are America,Japan,Germany, Italy and Spain really starting to rain them down.Because all i read is that outside daily commuters on short journeys and Tesla products the rest of the motor industry is not exactly bowled over with demand for full Ev`s and hence no rush for production. The reports from areas that have had an average of 4 inches of rain are that they performed poorly and where excessive
flooding occured in Carolina,extreme no doubt the Ev`s stopped working all together and the insurance companies are writing them off.Not normal conditions but still bad press which the vultures like printing.
Non of this is applicable to Kodal where China is strongly supportive of battery power and our main if not complete market, but it will not assist commodity prices.

LTI, you like many here have been invested not only in the Dow plus the S&P for many years I am sure.That`s why we can sit here and smile at the way Lloyds BoD have behaved.It is not for me to tell people what way to invest but the same exercise applied to Germany and numerous countries bring a lot better results than England to date.The question is are we underpriced with our large dividends or is America oversold? I was here before and it is not an easy question.
I recommend caution as all markets can drop like a stone.
As for Carney the sooner he is back in Canada the better.There are so many different ways now to investment in shares compared to 1970 it is beyond belief he made such a stupid statement.

For me immigration was third or fourth on my list of voting leave.
