The fact is the market has provided its verdict on Wood's audited acccounts and knows Wood cannot go it alone. On the other hand, although Sidara's offer of 30p is firmly on the table, the market does not want to tie up funds for 7 months before it sees a return in late HT2026!

The only hope to puch this Wood share upwards will be IF another bidder expresses interest...

Not some random RNS post about disposals. It is already known that disposals are to pay down debt (over -$1 billion in net debt!) and for liquidity (-$404 million cash flow negative).

The market is saying Wood's accounts are poor (even though Icecool thinks they're wonderful!) and they are not interested in a Wood turn-around in any whay, shape or form.

If the market thought the Sidara's offer undervalued Wood at 30p and there was a clear pathway for Wood to go it alone to glory (or for Sidara to lift its share price), then the market would price Wood at circa 40-45p right now. Instead it is .22p...! The market is never wrong! Icecool on the other hand...

@Icecool If your view of Wood rejecting Sidara's vote and going it alone after such 'fantastic' accounts, then Wood's share price would have rocketed to 45p today, which means that the market has said 'No' to Sidara and for Wood to go it alone.

Instead, the market cannot abide Wood's woeful audited accounts - and knows Wood cannot go it alone. Hence the small increase from 18p to 22p for a few investors who want to freeze their funds after the vote of 'Yes' for up to 6 months and get paid 30p at the end of HY2026.
