Just sold all my YouGov shares for a minor profit. Iran war and all that. First rule of investment in stocks: Preserve cash in times of trouble. Second rule: Never forget rule 1! I will be back when Iran war settles. GLA!

Interesting times indeed. Sidara walked last time due to uncertain times in the middle east. No deal is certain. Sidara could walk if it is in their interest to do so. In which case the cash injection provided by Sidara to Wood will be converted to a loan. No doubt Wood have planned for such a scenario. Maybe the Wood saga has a little more way to go yet...maybe the fat lady has not sung yet. If Sidara walk, due to the demand for oil and natural resources (Iran war) and the operations around that, Wood's share price will surge to circa 50-60p on an announcement that Sidara walks. Nothing in life is certain, which is why I remain heavily invested in Wood until the very end. IMO & GLA

Bytes market cap circa £680M, revenue circa £217M, share price of £3.04.

YouGov market cap circa £236M, revenue circa £388M, share price of £2.09.

YouGov has far more potential in terms of share price increase based on many factors. In addition, YouGov is probably a takeover target. I will happily remain invested in YouGov all day long for the next 12-24 months. I see some serious potential here - probably a multi-bagger. IMO

@Pokerchips Good point - still it is a clear indications shorts are on the way out. DE Shaw could have increased, but have decreased instead - smart move. Every stock has its low and YouGov is circa £2.05 and it is no-brainer bargain territory. I have been topping up massively over the last couple of days this week when it dipped to circa £1.99 to £2.01...happy days. I have a considerable holding here now. I look forward to the share price in March-April-May.

As I mentioned a month back Mobico is a clear turnaround in play. Up circa 37% today. More to come over the next 12 months. GLA

DE Shaw exited their short position on 24 February. More shorts to follow and exit between now and end of March. In April new funds will flow into YouGov as large and private investors alike (includes those with ISA who can add in April) realise YouGov is seriously undervalued and invest and/or add in order to average down. In April-May, the YouGov share price will take off. Don't say you weren't warned. The early bird catches the worm. IMO DYOR & GLA

Good solid results. Up circa 30% today so far. It's full steam ahead for Mobico. More to come over the next 12-18 months. Buy and/or Hold. GLA

Indeed. Shorts are mad to stay in any stock when the company is buying shares to cancel them.

No doubt like many here I have held onto my last purchase in the high 70s and don’t plan to sell for a while as JD Sports purchases and cancels its own stock this ought to drive the share price further upwards for a while yet and into April-May. IMO & GLA

No news is usually no news. However, in this case, I would say no news is good news in terms of the sale of Wood to Sahara.

Graff do you have any updates on when we can expect the multiple other bidders to come in and bid 60p to 99p? You have reassured all of us that this will happen. So can you please have a chat to your secret saucers and get the first bid underway as time is of the essence now as the sale and purchase ought to complete an H1 2026. CH has to walk a tightrope in order to balance connectivity and productivity carefully ie partners and JV with available cash without the need for another fund raise. Also CH has to be careful not to ‘over-develop’ so as there is enough raw potential for a buyer with an untapped but confident potential in order to make a sensible offer for all of Zephyr. IMO

The shorts are out in force on this YouGov discussion board. Lol

@PI_Winner I agree - besside list to main market or US market i.e. other possibilities include M&A or sale. The whispers are in the wind. IMO

@Dartron I do not profess to know that much about the new chair, nor do I need to. On your other point - you are not the YouGov Plc police on this discussion board or anywhere else. I will speak when and as I like and so can anyone else, so back off.

As an aside, it would not surprise me that YouGov leaves AIM to list on the UK main market, or list as a primary or secondary on the US market. This has been thought about since its acquisition of a US business that doubled its revenues. YouGov is a good growth business in terms of revenues. In my view YouGov is primed to do either and reap the obvious benefits of increased liquidity, access to capital, and further institutional investor interest i.e. by those who will only deal in stocks on the main market. When/if this lands, I expect YouGov to double in share price in very quick time. GLA

Of course Ian Griffiths is the new Chair. He is not the new CEO or CFO, so 'GPT musings' on his former roles as CEO or CFO is pretty irrelevent in the scheme of things. No doubt YouGov has set its course and is ensuring the right executive leadership team is in place. This bodes well for the future. I expect news in April-May. The early bird catches the worm. The interim chair has been replaced by the permanent chair. Pretty simple. I do like the work experience of the permanent chair. Bodes well. GLA

I watched the interview and was impressed. I am not sure what many on here were expectiving in terms of insights etc. For me CH did well and his comments were solid and above board. All Zephyr investors need to do is keep calm and carry on. IMO DYOR & GLA

Indeed - Zephyr has plenty of potential.

All Zephyr needs to do is complete connectivity (which is clearly underway), then produce and sell...rinse repeat! CH has put these steps in place and the light is plain to see at the end of the tunnel.

Zephyr's share price has jumped from circa .023p to .0408p over the last month, while impressive, this rise is peanuts compared to what can be achieved here. Therefore, I will not sell. I would rather be inside the tent looking out, than outside the tent looking in!
