I think the trick is to own the things before the tip goes to print then get out fast!!!

Well well, I also remember the Sun tips from a few years back RBS at 6 quid(old money) and uk coal at 4 quid and recently fastjet...say no more! Not that I read the Sun but I heard about it from a mate! I'd say with the torygraph ones they're all good recovery possibilities but....! I've flitted in and out of all of them but none have a compelling yield other than the chance of one,chemring a small one but how long before first group pay out and rsa more likely a cut but what do I know!!

I've got a long standing holding in BLND,dipped in and out of tesco recently,never did any good on KAZ and regret not buying FRES very recently at 690 when I looked at them but tbh I've got so many of those blackrock things now I think I'm pretty well covered on commodities plus separate chunks of bp and shell B. You did well on carillion but mine are keepers for the yield although I'd reduce if they started with a 4. Not so many of these but some more will probably after 3 as/when! Well I noticed a few of the miners you've got making a strong recovery which is great news bud. Not off to the hideaway now as mum staying with me another week but building up a few truck loads for when I do go back up. Funny time of year on the shares,very stop/start but we love it!! Always a bit dubious of the pine ones as I invariably get covered in sap blobs and it spits if I leave the doors open...mind you I'm not sure if that applies to all the evergreens. Truck sorted then glad to hear it plus a couple of decent jobs looming. I'm in the dark on man group,got loads and worked hard to get an average below a quid and then after buying on that spike into the 130's had to work even harder again to get back below a quid. If they yield a decent amount of better still get taken over we should be happy log men!! The old girl is a strange one at times,I remember the 360 spike and subsequent fall around the RI time plus the recent warnings but overall she's a steady one. I've often compared the price to clln on a graph basis too. What are you looking at currently? My buy/add ones are still sse,hsba,stan(less yield though) and the blackrock commodities ones.
