Troj, the rabbits have got so many predators, foxes,stoats plus we’ve got red kites that keep having them, saw a feral cat dragging one the other day, no wonder they live in burrows! Luckily for them I won’t allow any shooting on my place so one less thing for them to worry about!

I’ve got 190-odd holdings in all sorts of stuff,sectors, regions and if you include the investment trusts with all theirs I’d say I’m more diversified than I’ve ever been, good div flow but apart from the occasional takeover, hardly anything actually showing a profit! Putin and his imperialistic ambitions have a lot to answer for apart from the obvious they’ve knocked everything for six!

They’re not house builders, just real estate trusts, got loads of them in the big mix so decided to put another basket of basket cases in lol.

Bought some TRY yesterday which is like a basket of REITs and down there, looking to reinvest some funds that are liquidating shortly, plenty to choose from out there, might add to some of the infrastructure ones like BBGI.

I can’t imagine any longtermers are happy with the SP but that surely relates to the value of the underlining holdings and sentiments therein.

JCGI down more than this and chipped the divvy, EAT similarly and ones like SMT which yield next to nothing….my point is at least we’re being paid a cracking income whilst we wait rather than sitting on bigger losses elsewhere with less income.

Hi Mick, glad the horses bringing in the rent mate, we’ve gone them on one side and had to chop out some sycamore’s we planted and gone mad plus the endless eradication of ragwort! Got some digging tomorrow as several posts gone and as they’re on gates I’m having to buy cement to do it properly at 10 quid a bag!

Saw that move with LSL, great way to get committed staff/sub-owners and reduce risk I assume, certainly works for Winkworths etc.
I thought the self-employed model/LPA with this lot had some legs with the right guidance but the current model is just an order-taker oppo which is so difficult to access I’m at a loss to see why anyone would instruct them in the first place and as far as agreeing anything you’d have to be committed to get through to them as a buyer!
I used to think the brand(grudgingly) might have some value but I’m not even sure if that now!

Hardly anyone has commented on this as as a LTH I’d say it’s a rare one and maybe provides reassurance that Rathbones with their recent expansion took a near enough 5% stake and will have done plenty of DD to get there?
The SP pretty grim but I don’t think any of us bought for SP growth over income and the underlying stocks fluctuate as do the geographics so I’m not losing any sleep on this one tbh.
Any actual views on the holdings RNS out there?

Got lucky on my numis shares last week so recirculated the dosh into a couple of the ultra boring but cheap and yielding infrastructure funds.

Zac, I also hold the JP China ones and currently under 3 quid so kind of ‘in line’? Also note AAIF similarly down there but with a lower yield.

Hi there, I don’t look on too often these days and not really interested in the sustainability of the divvy as long as they keep paying it.
Capital values fluctuate and currently right down there but with another 6p in the pipeline I see no reason to comment beyond sit it out.
Of greater interest is the holdings RNS….comments?

Looking back it was the fire risk that was our biggest concern then as we watched 30 acres go up two fields away whilst an idiot nearby neighbour was happily having bonfires and open bbqs at the time….it’s fair to say a lot of people were unhappy about it at the time lol.
My preference is bitter than lager so not worried about ice!!

Cheers Nom, seen a few down valuations recently but the healthcare ones look good value currently and one I didn’t have got a take over bid at a good premium last week….and it was on the watcher aaarghhh!
