Where will this settle? Any informed views?
Did some research after reading initial tips from StephenFryUp.... Purchased a little slice of the cake this morning.... JK
I'll be voting against. I've lost 90% of my holding, and as the board gave me such a poor response earlier in the year to questions asked, I feel it my duty to follow what I feel best (with little financially at risk anymore here)and not necessarily the desires of Ultrasis management who in my view let me down earlier in the year. Worst case, I lose the remaining 10%....
Eight points. Does someone know something that most of us don't? Always good to see such rises. Boosts confidence in a recovery if nothing more.
Forgot to thank you for your post. It is always helpful to gain the opinions of others. Always. Research is research. It takes time, and if you don't have much time for a particular stock...it does help to gain a flavour and feel. From this specific direction for research can be carried out and thus saves the likes of me time. Time being a commodity I have little of. J
If it is me, so be it.... I couldn't give a rats tail. All I know is that the sp has dropped significantly without a peep from the board. Perhaps they are working on something to shut those moody amongst us, up! Perhaps their heads in the sand.... Ultrasis represents 2% of my portfolio...so I have to be totally honest and admit that I do next to no research and pass only occasionally through this board. However, 2% is 2% of my hard earned dosh....so I'd very much like the wind to get behind the sails and lift these prices a tad. Anything else, well....I'm happy to be called whatever by whomever. J
I often agree with what Woolworth has posted, though I'm equally interested to know your view on ULT. How do you view the lack of board information and the current decline. Not picking a fight, genuinely interested.
I'm a great supporter of Woolworth, so keep it up. However, rarely have I seen a post more agreeable and accurate than that of Gritstone at 14:33hrs today. Spot-on. The BOD seem so arrogant with their position that they've forgotten their investors. It's disgusting. In over 20 years of trading I have never known such ignorant management. When you do email, they reply with a standard cut and paste response to all investors. I also invest in COMS, their Chairman and CEO both have met with me and given me their time. The CEO responds personally to positive and negative emails and furthermore actively works hard to address investor feedback. I doubt the board at Ultrasis read these blogs, and even if they did their arrogance wouldn't allow them to learn from other more investor focused businesses. Live and learn. If this is how they treat their investors, goodness knows what service the customers get. The products are very good, in a (sadly) growing market with demand....but it won't sell by itself if the management behind the product neglect the investors and customers. I guess you can't teach a blind board of Directors to see.....
All I know is that a fool and his money are soon parted. I don't consider this my wisest shares and I bought in on impulse. Will I sell? To be honest I don't think I'm at the point of needing to. The product range seems good, and the revues are in fairness very positive for the product range. However, the management really are a complete farce. We all however play our part. Upon reflection my comments do the company no favours to would-be investors and that also therefore delays the progress we all anticipate/expect/hope for. With this in mind I intend to refrain from my regular negative comments and focus on my more profitable investments. Watching from the sidelines.
Hope the board start having sleepless nights. We are six months from the AGM, and I fully intend to exercise my rights. Attend. Demand answers and more importantly hold them responsible for the farce which is their acknowledgements and response to stakeholders.
Just reviewing my shares and Tom Petty came on the stereo, as I looked up Ultrasis. Guess what track? "Free Fallin'" oh the irony. Happy weekend all....
The current runt of the litter. I hope things improve, hard to see the positives when the board remain so silent.
Hi pal, believe me I am an amateur at all of this and not a moneymaker etc.... I'm really pleased about the share price rise, but remain baffled by the silence of the board. To me it makes little sense. Though as previously stated, the business itself seems sound. I just question the managements lack of communication
+19%.....well that's shut me up!
A great post, and I wholeheartedly agree. I really liked the look of Ultrasis and as a business my view remains positive. However, the management are doing no favours and are failing to listen to their shareholders. We aren't expecting mega-contracts (would be nice though) or magical results. All we seem to be asking for as a collective is dialogue. Updates and feedback. I do recall the lack of this when results were posted earlier in the year, and the trend has continued. As a business, I fully support their product line and ambitions.
They're fools to themselves. I topped up stock elsewhere today. If the board were a little warmer towards investors I may well have placed more cash their way. As it is, I can't risk one cent more than they've had. All because of their arrogant and rude response to those who placed faith in them. Hey ho.
They've cut and paste the same response to me that was received by others. So disappointed in what seemed like a professional organisation. The products are strong and speak for themselves, the management however should address how they address the market and their stockholders. It really is appalling form.
Ultrasis clearly place very little value in their stock holders. A simple update is clearly asking for more than is possible:- Sir, John Smith has passed on your email inquiring about the company's lack of comment on the recent downward movement of the share price. I'm sure you are aware that the board's responsibilities concerning the timely announcement of market sensitive information are clearly set out in the AIM Listing Rules of the London Stock Exchange. The board acts in conjunction with the company's NOMAD when deciding if and when an announcement is appropriate. Commenting on share price movements over which the company has no control would not be appropriate. Regards, Gerald Malone Chairman, Ultrasis plc
Thanks Woolworth. I've emailed Mr. Smith, will update all if he replies.
