Dr. Hilary Jones talked about it this morning on "Lorraine".... hardly the most informative show, but it's encouraging to get the message out there. Brand names were not mentioned, but it did point out the DM article.

Toshack, evidence if ever it was needed at your nonsense. If you had any serious interest in this business you would have read the annual report and you would know the boards salaries. Yes MB does earn well, but I suspect the vast majority of us earn a great deal more than the majority of the board. Do your research before making such comments.

I'm a very-Long term holder, and along with many on here I'm still standing having ridden the wave through some incredibly stormy times. The fact the share price is dropping slightly isn't a big deal. We can't expect it to always go up and we also shouldn't expect a market rally following the consolidation. Let's get real. This is going to take time, and the patient amongst us can see that. I was able to attend the AGM, and the message was clear. This is now a professionally run company. We aren't going to have RNS updates every time a deal lands, there's a strategy in place and that will take time to mature. I remain very confident.... for anyone wishing to moan about the current SP, please look at the SP two years ago this month. Then tell me that the current bird haven't done an incredible job. We owe them gratitude for saving and growing the business, and time in which to realise it's potential.

The board spent well over an hour fielding questions with honesty, integrity and humour. After the formal process they all stayed to meet with shareholders and answer any further questions. Very positive. Pete will post an update in due course. The message was clear, they want/need to do things professionally and with margin. This is going to continue to take time but the future is very positive. I left feeling satisfied that the board are truly doing a good job. It's quite impressive how they've got us to this point from where we were only two years ago. Let's not forget that. We came from the brink of sinking due to the old management and their misguided decisions.

Great news today. The teams worked so hard, and I am grateful to them. Yet what will it take for this to break and remain above 2.00? Really optimistic for the future. It's a new business and shares little in common now with the shadow left by coms.

I have every intention at this stage to attend.

I'm a LTH, rarely post on this board. Over the past 2 to 3 years i've observed two facts. 1. Very little has happened of a positive note in regards to RMP, bar the odd flutter of hope... 2. Oilriches hasn't got a clue....

I agree PT, and thank you for your opinion. We are still trying to rebuild this business. This is clearly demonstrated by those on here who won't let the past go. I think it really is unfair to pick on 4P when at the time so many (including myself) encouraged his contact with the then SMT of Coms. If it wasn't for him we wouldn't have had the news we got, with retrospect it wasn't always honest or correct information he was given, but we still pushed for it. If people honestly feel such anger then maybe they should establish their own contact with the RS SMT. I have spoken to MB previously and found him to be most welcoming and have no doubt that he would answer questions I may have. However, if I contacted him I'd think twice about sharing the details due to the unfair reaction of fellow board members if the sp doesn't instantly reflect good news. Furthermore, I don't see the point in bugging the board as I believe this is a transformational period with 2017 offering full and honest results and with it a truely representative sp. So if others want to pick on posters, do so, but be prepared to do the research which as a group we so heavily rely upon one another for. Plantravel as an example is a real asset to our board, as I believe 4P still is. Give him a break guys, he did our leg work and it backfired. It doesn't mean he is bad, incompetent or without valued opinion. Let's all do our part in making this particular board a positive place. That means leaving out negative and someone pointless posts. Stop hunting for a negative spin. Clearly you're not a net-whizz as there is a great deal online. If you search for it. This is a great acquisition. I'd like to know more about our current bank loans and associated conditions, but feel this is all pointing towards a very positive 2017.
