The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Thursday was massively oversold. It was a bland update not a bad one and the major news such as securitisations will be announced separately as is stated.
A 30% drop one day should not phase a long term investor one bit since the companies fundamentals have not suddenly changed for the worse. Ridiculous over selling off the back of bad sentiment. Those who panic sold Got robbed blind, you don't panic sell investments without good reason especially as investments rely on time to become fruitful, going long tends to be a good idea.
.
This requires patience and sitting on your hands. If it's money you can afford to lose as part of a wider portfolio it shouldn't matter.
The fact that a load of people sign on here regularly to bash this share or ramp it to island partirs is noise.
These people are parasites, don't fall for the diatribe of negative commentary or 10p rampathon.

Ex you only speculate on the negative. Your only objective on this board is sowing seeds of doubt but intentionally so. As to what purpose, I don't know but someone who claims not to have a position either ought to have s more neutral outlook or quite simply keep their opinion to themselves, wouldn't you agree?
Agreed, it's a big if of course. I'm sure we'll know soon enough if indeed, this has the beginnings of a fruitful investment or not.
No crystal ball gazing here or ramping. I like the concept and the potential. Let's see.
Seadoc,
I believe in the concept and what AZ is trying to do. It makes sense to me. Whether it has legs or not? We shall see. I guess I will look silly if not but that's part of the parcel of investment, I like to think this is s speculative investment with indeed a deal of risk but a great deal of reward if it comes to fruition like I think it will. No pies in the sky, but a genuine scalable business model of sorts.
