I consider goinglarge comment disrespectful and insulting, thankfully he has sold his stock so we shouldn't see anymore similar remarks from this source. Incidentally, you will one day be one of the old people you disrespect.

I have been a great supporter of Marc Bolland up till now, and I hope that he will get to grips with the obvious 'issues' with the website very quickly, because if he does not and sales are still in negative territory by next quarter end then he will have some very disgruntled stockholders to answer to, including me.

I believe that the major investment both within the uk and the major expansion partnerships overseas driven forward by Mr Boland will pay dividends in medium term. Yes we are down 96 points from nine months ago but there is great opportunities with this stock in my view especially at this price.

I agree MKS quality is not what it was, equally, neither is Next or Debenhams - they all need to look more closely at their source for clothing and ask real questions about quality control in manufacture and materials used.

I applaud Marc Bolland for refusing a pay rise due to poor performance of the group. I also applaud him for 'grasping the nettle' and dragging M & S into a modern and fit for purpose company, ok so he spent 2.5bn£ over the past three years but this was badly needed due to lousy management at the helm before he took over. We should all benefit from his astute management in the coming years. Well Done!!

Martial Artist - I think on reflection it was in 2007 then the wheels fell off in 2008. Just didn't seem that long ago when I posted the comment, however, I do believe that there is great value to be had with this stock moving forward. best of luck with your investments.

I completely agree with 'p-o-d' and the massive 2.5bn£ invested over last couple of years coupled with major international expansion will bring rewards, and who knows perhaps back to the £7 mark where we were just a few years ago.

Hi bazzerksc - I know what you mean, perhaps the upcoming trading announcement for MKS will prompt some reaction, due on 10th April I think

This is due only to sector concerns with Morrison's and Sainsbury's only, and offers a good opportunity to buy in.
