Oil holding just north of $79 this morning, if the Fed do take a dovish approach tomorrow and not increase by a full 75 basis points the the oil price will move up.
Looking forward to a positive day.

Well it's been one of those really frustrating days, Brent crude price is back where it was early morning., and the share price can't decide what to do it been up and down like a contrary wh#res drawers all day.

Could be Causal, possibility of large rate rise won't help us

Thanks for your post Spights, it does seem that the logjam of tankers is easing. Oil holding up well @ $76.67 currently so hopeful for a positive move on the share price

Spights your optimism is palpable. We can always count on a few posters to keep our spirits up in troubled times. I still think we will have a brighter situation by Christmas when no doubt you will repost our projections. Enjoy your day, yes it's freezing all over it seems but we've missed the snow so far thankfully

I strongly believe that this is an area that bp has still got a great deal to do to minimise the huge volumes of gas that is currently escaping, and it would be very good use of funds at this time. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could get rid of flaring altogether and capture instead

Oil has obviously dropped but holding now at around $76 which is still a very good price, despite all the turmoil over past week. I believe OPEC+ will sit on their hands until new year and reevaluate the situation at that time taking up to date data into account.
Yes it's very frosty and cold so wrap up warm. We will be celebrating if Owns nap turns up trumps at Cheltenham this afternoon lol

That's assuming they will hold the meeting, not sure how bad the weather is in Cheltenham today
