Take a look back at my posts it will at least give you a list of possible future catalysts. For what its worth I am in the process of slowly scaling into this share. Looking back I think the reason the price failed to take off yesterday was maybe some very large buy orders last thursday which the mm needed to fill at a lower price yesterday without making a loss but I could be wrong as I am not a mm.

It is very unusual for any company to have so many potential share price catalyst's over a short space of time and I assume some may run into the 3rd quarter and beyond.
1. Sale and purchase agreement completion .
2. Completion of finance arrangements.
3. Indian government approval
4 . Run up to two well drill program ( prep's well advanced)
5. Spudding of well 1.
6. Spudding of well 2.
7. resource update
8. Details of further drilling program to enable connection to high pressure gas pipeline ( national network)
9. Then lets not forget we have other projects such as Indonesia as well.
Doubtless others will be able to think of other catalysts as well but I think it bodes well for a continuation of share price rerating during the rest of the year.

To the people who have suddenly come onto the board in the last few hours suggesting a placing DO SOME RESEARCH - It simple would not be fit for purpose with a low share price, number of shares in issue and more important low cost finance via other avenues available in these unusual circumstances see my post 104 from yesterday @ 20.37. Hi Callum28 I think you are right about placing very unlikely . On the 5th January the Indian PM stated that by 2024 there would be in place 5 more gas pipelines making a network covering the country at a cost of 60 billion funded by private investors. It has also been stated that India has a chronic gas shortage which they would prefer to source locally rather than import. Reading Thursday RNS again it is obvious that a path to market has been agreed . First with a local low pressure pipeline then as production increases into one of the new high pressure pipelines. Pipeline operators which is a specialist field need to fill their pipeline and OEX have become very much a specialist in recent years in gas extraction. Reading between the lines I think OEX are going to get a lot of help from the private investors investment funds, banks etc funding the pipeline its very much in their interest to do so and the new pipelines and gas shortage have all come at the right time for OEX . I therefore think funding has already been agreed with the pipeline investors or their help in the background.

It might be just me as I have done no research on the subject but I noticed over the years that a oil share priced at under 5p will often go up 4 or 5 fold on good news. where as a oil share priced at 30p plus on good news will often struggle to double.

I got out at just over 11p but remember it going to just over 12p. These days I think management have learned a lot and are now a much better run business which bodes well for getting a good solid long term deal

UJO is a good example of a case in point according to some of the posts from pi at the time it was hidden in the small print from a previous agm and they did not even know the board could do it without consulting shareholders. I do think UJO consolidation was way over the top . Its taken the momentum away if they had gone for a share price in the range 5 to 7p in my opinion would have a better reflection of assets and future potential

Hi some years ago I has some oex shares which i sold at a profit. I have now decided to slowly stake build here again. Below are listed the results of my initial research and I wonder if any long term posters will fill in the gaps and give me there views.
Catalysts:
Purchases of GSPC 55% cambay assuming it goes ahead and reading the half year a/c's i think the agreement is at an advanced stage so very likely will. oex seems to be a different business from what I remember its seems well managed it has learned the skill of buying and selling licences to add to profits and keeping the best for itself. Its business review in November is what I would expect from a well run business .
Finance and or new partner to develop cambay as referred to in the half year a/c's which will be made easier with a return to profit and the Baker Hughes GE report. Hopefully they will get asset level finance same as tower are trying to get and or a partner of the same quality as aminex have achieved with apt and the zubs.
Two near term drills at cambay - nothing like drills to get the share price moving.
Preferred bidder in Indonesia.
The only downside I can see is finance and what they have to do or give away to get it. Hopefully no long share trading suspension and no share consolidation as it would kill any real share price rise.( the company need to remember consolidations kill any hope of shareholder placings often for years to come) lets hope they know better than to even consider it.

I think we are at the start of a upward trend - the result of a combination of factors. 1. Touching .4 was just too low with so many potential new investors watching probably as a result of a number of tipsters starting to tip it as having good potential to rise over the coming months . 2. end of tax year with some investors having money in isa's to invest. 3. tipsters such as oilman jim telling investors to slowly build positions he has a good following . 4 sadaat umar purchase if correct would have helped . Judging by is twitter posts and the shares he has taken an interest in he may like me be a subscriber to oil man jim.
As an aside I agree with his view of metal explorers I recently did some research using british bulls and came to the conclusion that those metal explorers who succeed take about 2 years for shares to show a good profit and the road is much more bumpy compared with oil and gas where those who succeed show a good profit on share price often in less than a year. 5. the prospect of a low ball takeover is receding it simply would not be in the zubs interest they specialize in taking discoveries to production how many shareholders of small companies with discoveries would trust them to do business with in the future if they did. 6. as we becoming infrastructure type asset based then we become more and more of interest to investment funds. I think like a number of others that we should already be over 1p and I think we will slowly rerate to at least 1 to 1.5p.

I wonder if the reason for the rise is simply people and small funds have been watching this share for sometime thinking how low can it go then we will buy in. Seems that my small purchase yesterday afternoon may have been the catalyst that started the ball rolling. Lets face it it was never going to stay that low over the rest of the year with all that's going to be happening. Any views on what the price is likely to be at spud folks.

The important thing to remember is that this is an Australian listed company with very strict regulation to comply with and as such the new presentation must be accurate . You might be able to get away with some things on AIM'S but not in Australia .
They are drilling and probably doing in house testing of samples with independent testing playing catch up remember we still have covid even in Australia thus things are taking longer. This probably means that we have a very good idea of what the independent results will likely be and the stock markets will have to play catch up also at some point. I think 6p plus could now be possible in the near term.

One thing that is often forgotten is that OEX is an Australian company and that means much stricter regulations unlike the UK aims market. Therefore any problems they are required to notify immediately and the fact they have not issued any cautionary notices bodes well for a deal. However If you look at other company deals for what is going to be a very unusual deal 3 months would be a very quick time scale. Having said that there is a willingness to get this deal over the line as soon as possible from what I can see on all sides

From reading various posts over the last week I am left wondering who are the large shareholders . Does zaza have a large holding or is it none existant . Does SN still have a large holding? If a large majority of shares are now in the hands of small shareholders it puts us small shareholders in a much stronger position in any vote. If Anybody has information on this subject it would be useful to us all.

Whilst I think a merger with Wentworth is a bad Idea we needs assets outside tanz . I do think a tie up with another company is a good idea at this stage and by way of an example ONLY oex which is gas is looking to fully take over the Cambay gas field in India as its partner has problems. Aminex could easily borrow to finance this. Its would suit the Zubairs as it a proven gas field and is mainly development of resource with good demand in india for gas. It would suit shareholders as there is the catalyst of near term drills. This is an example only of what could be possible for aminex to open the mind of posters. Although when I think about anybody got a direct line to the BOD

An additional thought - Given all the field information frr have and the asset if frr were put for sale by a bidding process for which there is history of other small oilers with possible big assets been put for sale in such a manner. I think we would get at least 1p to 3p per share. Although I think small share holders would have a fight on their hands with certain people as it very much limit what they get.

TMH I could not agree more. I have said many times that my biggest worry is that shareholders will get next to nothing . Then in a few years time certain people will walk away with a fortune at our expense . I feel that it would be much better for frr or its assets to be sold to a major even if the BOD say we would more in a few years. That way we can see what we are getting

Can remember Brain Hall at an AGM some years ago discussing it and it was certainly active in the oil service business then. If its roll in recent years has changed I do not know. However it certainly had revenue of 1.52 million in 2019 the most recent accounts available.

Thanks Bucklerfern for the link your computer skills are obviously better than mine. Interesting that our oil service division that provides parts and on site services to other oil companies will easily provide enough revenue to pay the main companies reduced annual overheads . Thus should be no need to borrow or do any placing unless of course we want to take on another asset or develop an existing one. Then of course we also have all that money the tanz gov owe us which will come our way one way or another.

Dun & Bradstreet report is interesting reading it says we still have assets in Moldova and a small 1% royalty Egypt ( although haven't heard anything about them for a while). Which could have something to do with strategic developments ? Also Aminex Petroleum services our oil services division apparently had revenue of 1.52 million in 2019 accounts for 2020 due out in September 2021.
