Lets hope AEX time is approaching
what do we need
A good PR opportunity for the minster to announce the licence as been issued if it has not already - anybody know of any
With the FT hitting an all time high it would be good to have a first class RNS for our share price and we might even get to the top of the leader board again - with a predicted reducing base rate it should stimulate share prices generally over the next 12 months.
The Daily Telegraph business section predicts that oil and gas shares should do better than other sections in a rising market - lets hope so.
As Ashish is appointed as an executive ie working director as we are no longer the operator what is role to be ? Is it looking at converting some of the large contingent resources to drillable with new tech after all the last resources report was 2007 and a lot has changed since then or will he be in charge of cambay ccs?
Hi Kever I am also pleased this is not been rushed for another reason - The daily Telegraph business section had a headline a week or so ago basically saying that as interest rates go down it will enable a big rises for the london stock exchange and one of the sectors that should see big rises is oil and gas shares. It only takes one or two shares like TRP to multibag a few times for interest to start to rise and old hands in the market know this. May would be a good time to start and build the price after hopefully an interest rate cut . Just the right amount of time for price momentum ahead of a drill. The first drill is appraisal not exploration with at least an 80% chance of success and the rig should have the right new tech on board to ensure the drill hits the right spot all been well.
Hi Gordon
According to the financial times Rowland will be 71 this year. Maybe he simply likes the challenge of building a business and it keeps you young I have just been 73 and the thought of retiring fills me with horror. I do think that Roland probably likes building a business and will then sell it especially now ccs at such a early stage is staring to attract large valuations . The period to get ccs up and running is starting with tech and Ai to look like it can be considerably reduce. With valuations increasing syn as a small company with such a high calibre and experienced management is going to start and attract takeover offers if they have not already
Thought I would take a closer look at ccs this morning a subject that I don't know much about as I have specialized in oil and gas for many years.
To my surprise early stage that medway hub is at our share of the licence as operator is probably worth several times our current market cap the profit from ccs is going to be very large much more than oil and gas which is why licences are starting to change hands at eye watering amounts and medway has the potential to serve Europe as well as UK .
Block energy on the 16th Jan issued an RNS on their proposed ccs project which is either similar or smaller than the Cambay site and it is a route that other oil and gas companies may follow given the enormous potential profits.
Its worth remembering with regards to us that as well as uk licence's we have cambay where we already own the site thus we have no competition for a licence and we are helping GOI frame their ccs legislation (first mover advantage) didn't Rowland get something like 380 million for star energy Syn is going to be worth at least that which is about 3.5pence per share. Once GOI starts to introduce regulations for ccs it should start to reflect it in share price or we will get taken over we are very much under valued now and with cambay ccs we will be a target.
Hi Northern magic
At 2p per share that would only give a market cap of approx 70 million which is way too low given our 16.38tcf which I admit takes some getting our heads round . To put it more into prospective if aminex were when the gas is flowing to pay a dividend ( illustration only don't think that will happen for many years if at all ) given the profit share to aminex it would be more than 2p per share .On the last drill in 2017 the share price was almost 7p then and thats without all thats happening later this year. Also for ARA to make full use of aminex main market listing they need the share price to be much increased and this year is the time to do it with all we have going on this year and into next.
Hi Crusty
In answer to your post on friday evening "why would they like the share price up" such a low price now the scirocco deal is done and with the reserves now up considerably. The low share price will be regarded as an embarrassment . ARA in effect are running Aminex which is dual listed in uk and Ireland well positioned for both Europe and uk with the assets it has
for a number of financial markets the one thing that will hold it back is the low share price which needs to be remedied
and does not reflect well on a very good management team. Whilst a number of posters will disagree I think as the year progresses with the now known 16.38tcf and the upcoming drills etc a fair value share price trading range is 18p to 24p
Hi
I see BLOE are up almost 19% today with a resources upgrade that is a fraction of our 16.38tcf . The question is why are we not up a similar amount and what can be done. Is the answer to ask management to engage consultant 's to look at why and come up with a plan before the agm
Hi
The pipe line from what I remember is a 3 month project and the tanz gov won't want to spend the money until the pipeline spur is actually needed in other words the gas is available to go in the pipeline due to budget constrains
HI Crusty hope you are well not been able to contact mrs webmore but one day hope to be able to contact you direct.
My view is that if a certain lady presidents want's to get re elected this well will be done and dusted before the elections in October. It would not go down well with voters if she hasn't and ARA will want to keep a supportive president in power thus I think the summer for the drill or as soon as possible before. Once the development licence is in place ARA can move quickly if they want to.
Excellent information about the condensate RJ
Interesting how modern technology has moved on in the oil and gas industry for instance in the presentation they can determine by the measured pressure of 1500psi to 1800 psi over pressure that enables them to say consistant with a 600 metre gas column that's a lot of gas normally a very good result is 100 metre's and hence thought to be in the order of 3.45 tcf for ntorya . Then we have chkumbi-1 appraisal well shortly which is a fan type system and from the new pad will test a gas accumulation thought to be in the order of 7.95tcf we hope to also shortly have a new cpr which is expected to show 16.38 tcf hopefully most of which can be booked as reserve not contingent. Interesting times ahead for aminex.

Desperate people trying to get the price down after the share price rise on friday. In case the rise continues into this coming week and they loose money on their short. Bookbuild i don't think so what a silly suggestion and anybody with the slightest bit of common sense can see what you are up to.
hi callum 28
i agree with ****nal 221 thanks for all the info finding all this research info must have taken some time and much appreciated.
the fact that all this research info is starting to become available must mean panmur gordon are doing their job or there is more larger professional investors becoming interested in syn . ever noticed how with some stocks there is often no interest and no news and then the share price starts going up that's i have always thought is professional investment firms taking positions after doing their due diligence talks with roland and other board members etc. lets see what happens.
Hi lionsworld
Your post at 14.10 is excellent and i totally agree.
One interesting thing I found out today is whilst it is not illegal to short a share it is to act in concert with others to damage a company by use of such as telegraph group twitter or bulletin post 's etc for shorting or for any purpose that damages a company . This can result in a criminal case prison or unlimited fines. There have been lots of complaints to the FCA mine included so they will have to investigate as these type of events can damage the reputation of the London Stock Exchange . After wait and see what happens
