AGM 30th June bodes well for news on Cameroon drill in next few weeks as they could have put AGM for at least 2months saving themselves grief from shareholders if they expect further delays. Also worth remembering that our director are very much hands on unlike the directors of some oil and gas companies and usually do presentations sometimes even from America by zoom. This says to me that they expect to be busy with the Cameroon drill and want to get the AGM out of the way early

In My opinion the Two things that will give shareholders and other potential investors the confidence to invest in this share is for management to give an undertaking that their will be no more placings to at least the end of the year as SYN have recently done to start to restore shareholder confidence and as the directors in SYN and TRP have both done is directors to either wave payments or take them as warrants that are set at share price that reflects a much higher share price. This is an extension of an existing licence not a new licence and the 60 day buy in period as long since expired as did the one prior to it a few years ago. Given oil tax revenue and capital allowances against tax there would be little if any advantage to cameroon buying in.

When I think about it the way JA took is holding up to 25% without a shareholder vote would probably leave him open to shareholder legal action with the FCA etc thus I doubt if he would go further by increasing his holding has it could give him a number of legal problems if he did a takeover bid.

If JA has now got 30% which I doubt under stock market rules he would be required to make a takeover bid for tower at the highest price paid in the last 12months which was .0585 which would give everybody a reasonable profit

Wonder if we will see any news with regard to South Africa - if so it will be next 7 to 10 days that gives JA time to finish is visit

Its normal practice for officials in the country where the licence is issued in this case cameroon to meet the new partner in this case Prime on a number of occasions and if they were not happy it probably not have got this far. Thus I am hopeful that this will conclude soon.

Really good article and clearly highlights the fact that we are different company than we were 5 or more years ago with some highly qualified specialist directors and well funded for the upcoming drill which with 2 previous discoveries by TOTAL puts us in a really strong position

I agree think the issue of warrant maybe more to do with vat and up coming tax year end than any thing else. I also think the shares recently sold were to do with the october placings which fit the timescale. Thus now they seem to be cleared and with plenty of cash and a drill to look forward to the price hopefully will now move up

JA spends approx 1.4 million on tower shares which he could have taken in cash - why now he is no fool and 1.4 million is a lot of money to JA like the rest of us. Why so desperate to increase is holding instead of taking cash payments which over time would have amounted to probably more than the 1.4 million. Also my impression is that he has no intention of letting go of a single share.

The only thing I can think of in the near term is Cameroon we already know that their is oil their and they have done a lot of work and now have 4 additional targets. The way he was talking on the Blyth/Ray interview was like it was almost a for gone conclusion that it was likely to be successful . If it is successful and increases the amount of oil there 2 or 3 fold then Will not tower become a billion plus company. There has to be some reason JA has gone to great lengths to increase is holding now.

These days we also have to consider tax and especially inheritance tax planning unfortunately which will be a big consideration for JA with these two farmouts.

Remember reading article that said cameroon had a number of older oil well where production was dropping off due to age thus causing a reduction in oil revenue and as such they will be keen to increase revenue with new wells from tower. Thus I think that approval will be fairly quick as JA alluded to . I also think they will be keen for Tower to go for a mult well production system rather than a single well - but its a case of wait and see.

Share price now finally up probably needed to keep the low all day in attempt to fill buy orders from first thing.
