Hi Da Prophet &Ssccss
I agree with you both and also think some are taking advantage as PageofCup says and using a variation of pattern trading to make a good profit and avoiding the £25000 day trading rule
Some may find PageofCups posts on the aex thread (aminex) interesting they describe a variation of pattern trading which maybe what's happening to our share price they are short but worth a read. Some traders may also be adding spread betting into the mix to increase profits.
I think this is either the last remnants of previous placing which will cease as the shares dry up or a group of shorters who are becoming too comfortable keep repeating the practice which will be their downfall . If the later I remember a number of years ago a situation where i think the trading desk at one of the institutions waited until they had shorted the share down and then quickly spiked the price up burning the shorters well and truly costing them a large amount of money one of the shorters even posted a video saying shareholders should sell shares which nobody did and doubtless the institution made a good profit. We have Roland doing a presentation to get the share price up and a new broker Panmure Gordon tasked with bringing on board institutional investors. I don't think Roland and team will like it if there is a group of shorters keep bringing the share price down and don't see them lasting very long
I think this is where Roland along with our new joint broker Panmur Gordon from RNS 29th June who job it is to bring institutional investors on board go to work. IT could be well timed st ledger day coming up when the traditional share buying season starts. We have a number of pieces of good news hopefully to come over the next six months as i said in a recent post its time they got the share price up substantially
First has got to be pump and flow rates which I hope will take us to between .44 and .6
Second is the JV which cannot be far away when they say in latest presentation that full field development starts quarter one 2024 I hope a JV announcement will get us quickly after over the 1p
Third is the full field development of 10 wells been drilled starting in quarter 1 2024 which hopefully will give the share price momentum until at least the end of quarter 1 and as such hope at some point in quarter 1 we will see 2p all pure conjecture of course but with ccs as well it could be possible and yes a very busy 6 months for SYN
Hi crusty
Sent a whatsapp to mrs webmoor for your contact details. I see from other shares that interest me both India and Australia are building high end state of the art land base rigs. Is there any information on the rig yet.
Lets hope it's fast fast exciting ride to a share price beyond expectations that we can only dream of.
Hi crusty
not sure how to connect offline - could you let me know I think at one point you had my email
We were told at the AGM that the leg survey was very good in all respects. However JA did not think it required an RNS by itself . Lets hope that JA can get this all together he did say at the AGM quarter 3 or quarter 4 for the cameroon drill
Last post should read changed ownership
Hi irishmouse
Just to see you posting brings back fond memories for me - saw spicey maiden last month when I was in gruissan although changed now
regards
Hi Walkman
I think you absolutely correct. With these type of systems most of work is surface engineering work with the rig playing only a small part relatively speaking thus the rigs part should be complete in days not weeks as you say. Share price momentum should then start to happen and a JV announcement hopefully not too long after should take us over 1p. According to the recent presentation they intend to start drilling early 2024 and as such they must have a preferred JV partner in my view.
Hi Gordon
Been out this afternoon. Like you I am oil and gas. However I see potential ie ccs. This is not a case of .11p now and then nothing for 10 years and suddenly say 50p there is all the catalysts along the way creating share price momentum if nothing before there is the medway drill in 2026 which until the presentation like a few other things did not know about.
I think Roland and is team are all about company building and with a share price of .11 and cambay and ccs the share price is going to build especially as we now have a second broker promoting the share Just think of all the catalysts to come over the next one to two years both cambay and ccs it almost I think a given
Hi Gordon
I have now read the presentation a number of times and very muck of the opinion that it is geared to updating shareholder on ccs medway and indian and getting the attention of institutional investors. I feel that the cambay gas part is very much thrown in because they felt they had to with more holes in than my grandmothers net curtains. Having said that I see cambay gas as going to be far more profitable than the figures in the presentation and as they say first well's to be drilled early 2024 they must already have preferred JV partner.
Hi steven
What is it about Yorkshire and this share . I live just down the coast from you in a very small village the other side of Hornsea it seem's a lot of us shareholders live in Yorkshire. If you read the latest presentation allowing for the mistakes I think SYN will eventually do very well especially as they have diversified into ccs. But like other oil and gas companies since covid things take longer
I think we have missed the real reason for this investor presentation and it could turn out to be materially important .
First is to give our new joint broker Panmure Gordon information to make it easier to sell to institutions such as investment companies pension funds etc. Are we the only listed company below 1p with a medway licence in the running for two others and a drill in 2026 which I did not know until I read the presentation again. Also in india we now know that its for power stations close to cambay and as we own cambay no competitive tendering process which is a very big advantage . This presentation will surly make it easier to sell our shares to institutions which is going to help our share price.
Hi SQ320
As well as the 31 million left of the free carry there is the income from our share of the new gas wells that will have come on line and if required production based finance thus no fund raise should ever be required i would have thought.
Hi Gordon
The more I read the presentation like espenviking the more errors I find . It is obviously going to be very profitable which every way you look at it . My own view is its going to be a lot more than the figures in the presentation.
Hi Gordon
All my figures are gross income not profit and I took 8.57 mcf lower figure. The 10 well programme I don't think could be self funding after two wells on their calculations unless there profit figures are per well rather than for 10 wells but I don't of course have all the data.
