Wkworld: as I understand the DFS just ratifies and confirms the quantity of in situ resources, so would be an essential document for any potential bidder.

DJM1: could there be a scenario where the final deal has been agreed but is subject to confirmation of the actual in situ resources? If so, then no update can be given on the FSP until the resource update is released! As Gecko has said already, the BoD will give an update on the value of in situ resources this month, so we are really really close now.

Surely the DFS resources update will be needed to conclude the deal, as it sets and defines the actual value of the in situ resources. Based on the resource value, the SP will rerate accordingly.
Would it not be valid to expect the DFS resources RNS, after which we would then receive the FSP RNS?

It is a difficult one, I'll grant you that! If you stay with this BB over the weekend, it will seem like an assault course. If you leave on a Friday and come back on a Monday morning, you have only let the flies have free run to infest at will.
I used to follow the BB religiously the weekends, fully knowing the 'end was near'. Now not so much, as there doesn't seem much point. The deal is going to drop and we are trading in a range. If it goes on til next year (I don't think it will) then the MMs will drop the range a bit, at least until we hear some news.

Folks, given the UK will go back into lockdown next week, it is pretty obvious MMs will slash the markets on Monday. This will bring the inevitable market fear! It is also fairly obvious the derampers and shorters will play on this fear and make their money by driving the market down further.
They will exploit your fears and drive you to sell.
If you are hear for the FSP, my humble advice would be ignore all and await release of the final RNS.

I admire your consistency and resilience. I am here for the FSP conclusion and only read this BB for any forward looking updates.
I acknowledge some here are trading daily in both directions but I just try and ignore their posts as pure nonsense.

Yes, I have consigned a fair few people on this BB to the Green Sin Bin (aka GSB). Just logged in an I have to say, I have nothing to read here at the moment, as the board is populated with a GSBs.
At least the clocks go back this weekend, which means that 8am is one hour sooner, and hopefully by that point all you GSBs will be still in your scratchers.
