Gas SOU never had the resources to fully exploit Tendrara and it was never their intention to do this the whole purpose was to prove up as much as possible within our financial/time constraints and sell on to a co with the resources to achieve this and i believe time was the biggest factor that determined the course we are now on not success/failure of the drill program.

LONG Yes it may help to spread the initial cost to the buyer i would still prefer a straight cash offer but if we struggle to achieve the valuation the co. have set this would be a compromise i would settle for.

LONG I posted the other day i woudn`t be against an all share offer it realised more value than a straight cash offer and made the deal easier to conclude.

Jez Its true the chinese are investing heavily in many african countries where that investment gives them a great deal of influence on those governing i don`t see Morocco exposing themselves to this kind of influence.

LONG Its difficult to see what direction we could take with SCHL staying quiet i had hoped they would have made a statement to follow our lead a sale of 75% of the cake would make a more attractive proposition to a buyer.

LONG Not sure we can go it alone without SCHL and ONHYMN agreeing to it.

scarf Yes conclusion is the word like you prepared for whatever is offered i`ve thought 35-50p might be achievable but if less it would mean that was the best deal on offer i would even be happy with an all share offer if it would grease the wheels of a deal.

The worst possible RNS for me would be. Anything other than an offer has been accepted low/med/ high no longer bothered just let us see what our investment amounts to then move on.

Long I will be surprised if we don`t get a bid of 35-50p recommended to us unfortunately that will still mean many losers. But it will at least salvage something from this mess.

LONG I think it more the case that peoples expectations are going to be way short of those that a few years ago were believed to be obtainable.

med I`m afraid my faith took a knock at the beginning of april when i de-risked some of my investment here and could still make a decent profit from the sale.

lucky if you read the threads carefully you will see a thread re UJO/SOU it is also a non trading day so relax no one is trying to steal UJOs thunder. Simply comparing the 2 companies it was your mr 50p that quoted SOU but seems that was acceptable to you.

Sunday I`m not comparing the relevant qualities of our CEOs but the respective resources of both the companies. Agreed we have at SOU a CEO with a rather inflated opinion of his self the word Hubris comes to mind and is now paying the price for it i just hope we don`t have to pay for it as well.
