Aim - if it is correct that there is no correlation between revenue generated and marketing spend the implication is that the money was totally squandered in that case.
Makes no sense for them to have put the business in this position unnecessarily, why else did they carry on with it?

Luckily I haven’t held since 40p but it was the JV and quick rise from 4-40 that got me looking for an entry.
Avg now 16 ish and will avg down again sub 9 or If I think bottom is firmly in.
I also traded a few out on the spike last year but bought them back too soon and now overweight.

My orginal plan was to load up and hold as long as story continued to impress. I really did think this could be next Solg/ggp type play.

He lost my full support with the JV tinkering because I just don’t believe they are the “free hit” he suggests. They could be successful but if they aren’t will eat into Colombian assets so price target 25 remains for me. Seems a long way off right now but could easily see 50% in a day here as long as we get some proper information before he needs more cash.

The other thing I think the JV’s do is make an outright bid very unlikely. If the Colombian assets were sold we might get a small divi but he’d need cash for Arg/Brazil.

Think points 1-4 you raise make much sense.

I don’t think Brad helps by constantly giving impression that we will get a busy news period and not delivering or telling us the majors want to move fast but then in reality the phase 2 isn’t going to begin much quicker than the SEP deadline considering we are on the verge of June.

However it does seem that almost every AIM explorer CEO trots out a line of BS or contradicts them self at some point.

Agree pp and Dr R that eventually this will follow suit.
I just think co’s like wsbn have a greater duty to talk their SP up as no major partner to fund them.

I own some wsbn and the mere mention of rigs contracted for drilling sent SP up 50% quickly. They only announce a rig was signed.

If we have so going on why are we having to speculate so much. We all know how market feels about uncertainty so why after such a long arduous wait do we still wait for something concrete?

I just wish Bod could acknowledge the failings as simply ignoring them or dismissing them leads to the SP action we are seeing and makes them look like idiots. Not a good look for custodians of our money.

How can you fix a problem (in this case the cap structure v funding requirement) if you don’t acknowledge it exists. Someone said doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome is insanity.

Catbert the market is pricing this as if they had drilled dusters..
0 value has been attributed to the work that’s been done, in fact negative value based on what they have spent.
The dilution will be indiscriminate. Yeah 10-15-20 % dilution always a given but this is something far more problematic for those that hold already.
If they got it away at .25 (questionable) it’s way too much dilution. It’s broken unless they can get it away higher.

Trojan this wasn’t a new explorer and already had assets that should have offset some of the dilution. That was the attraction to some of us. I put my hands for being gullible on that but equally Tim was using the value in legacy as a carrot.

They either badly misled the investors on legacy assets or badly failed to create value.

I also agree that the vast majority of risky explorers are in the bin right now.

This one just has some very specific dilution criticism because they have not only helped dilution along with their specific f@ck ups they have stopped a major PR bomb trying to say it doesn’t matter.

Kutzz as annoying as it is being in a losing position sometimes I just have to laugh at the situation.
They can’t even use the market cap argument today!
If you accept they started with a market cap of 2, they have actually spent around 5 million to create value of 4 million.
Just leaving it in the bank on half a point interest would have probably led to a similar outcome even with 500k burnt on wages
You couldnt make it up and then throw into the mix they are trying to tell us what a good job they have done.

Thanks for the optimism Godo but things HAVE changed.
I’ve seen sh@t turn to gold many times on aim no pun intended so I’m keeping what I have but it HAS changed because dilution is out of control and they appear out of levers to pull.
Was giving away 20-30% of the company at a low low price part of the plan initially?

Plus it’s raining here and I deserve that for my cynicism!

.75 as it stands i had a lower average but sold some stuff I bought around .4 for a small loss so it’s actually gone up since.
I will try again sub placing but purely for the volatility (I hope so anyway as it just kept dropping after the last one)
