I’ve tried to stay objective on Brad and not be guided by others dislike of him but he really went down in my estimation with the feeling attacked comment.

Whether he is unwilling or unable to support the stock price the outcome is the same and make his options package difficult to justify. As long as he resists further dilution before the big drill show I’ll accept it as lesser of evils

Lower the SP goes the more generous Brads option package becomes. He basically benefits more from short term SP weakness. Not saying he’s letting the so drift on purpose just that it’s ironically convenient

Thanks for that bhargav. Encouraging for me personally that the materiality to us is acknowledged and the access to all the results.
The cynic in me believed that it’s not really in the majors interest to publicise any excitement so this is refreshing to read.

Interesting point bhargav re. Bod not being able to assist SP.
If they want option strike at market it’s actually not In their interest to assist SP until options tied down.

Personally just glad to see Nov pass without a placing. As long as he upholds the rest of the capital structure let him have his option strike at market imo

Touched on this before and don’t want to labour the point but the “perception” of the play changes if they are unable to raise additional funding with legacy assets.
The market doesn’t like the last confetti and a number of us bought into the play on basis there would be other funding options.
Keeping a very close eye on whether they can In fact get their hands on funds without pressing the placing button imo.
Stock can recover “if” the geo data is outstanding and “if” they don’t shower the market with another significant lump of shares at this sub 0.5 level but Tim isnt convincing some anymore.
I’m personally still willing to wait and see but don’t like it when I start hearing how “the market doesn’t understand” Tim really needs to put some value on the current no. of shares in issue.
Some more mildly encouraging data along with a request for another couple of million just won’t the stir the market.
Sorry for the negative slant as I’ve been very positive on the stock in the past but Tim’s rns yesterday was irritating as has the whiff of “I’ll need more money from investors before too long”

Chicken the term fishy also crosses my mind. Maybe we have all been blinded by the cash position when actually he’s going to place same as last Nov?
Would explain a hell of a lot on the price action and Brads skinflint purchase.
Or could be that mm’s are just marking down on the possibility as it’s almost 12 months to the day and they are wrong (they’re not often wrong and not because of trading savvy more that Chinese walls are so flimsy on these small co’s)

I’ll be really gutted if there is any dilution but SP has been stone dead since the big July announcement.

Wouldn’t be the end of the world but would be gutted as the cash cushion was a big catalyst for me as I hoped the next years drill results would reflect on current relatively small no. Of shares currently issued.

Maybe mm’s just treating this like an AIM also ran and are pricing in and be proved wrong but as you say it’s fishy isn’t it?

Sorry for causing doubt but when things start feeling irrational for longer than I can fathom there’s usually a reason. Sincerely hope it’s not the case all

Yep…position is hurting but when it is reverses on me will be spectacular. Best gold play I have and I’ve got a few, rns today was fine. Just too much to expectation on it built by months of frustration.

I’ll take adavantage of the total lack of sentiment in my favourite risky stock.

Yeah but if it another 10k shares has the feel of “token” purchase which can almost be viewed as lack of confidence. Don’t bother unless it’s a proper amount imo

I’d certainly be happy with a lithium JV. Seen a few other real dog stocks bag simply because of a loose connection to lithium..

I’ll stop with the fantasying now for all our sake…

Unlikely to happen but in such a fickle market with such low sentiment to the SP can you imagine..

So Mcap now under 8 million and that includes the 2 million ish just raised.
Personally I think the sum total of Orr parts (cash included) should be valued higher but I think a real issue which doesn’t get enough discussion is the legacy assets.
Oriole had high and healthy sentiment in the run up to 1.75p. Myself and some others believed Tim’s spiel that he could/would raise funds from within via old assets. If that was/is true then oriole is a very different beast to the one that is being forced to place on lows, however so far it hasn’t been true and I think it harms Tim’s credibility as he hasn’t been shy about repeatedly using the legacy assets in his promo material and discussions.
The reality is that he placed on a low because he had no other option therefore his claims re. Legacy assets ring hollow.
He certainly lost some credibility around this issue and I think as shareholders we should be focussing more on this side of the business for two reasons.
1. If he only has the ability to raise with placings dilution will be crippling even in a success case.
2. Tim would restore some personal credibility and sentiment to proceedings.
The flip side that he doesn’t raise non-dilutive cash is that he just appears another lifestyler high on the sense of his own potential success with a simple button to press and reset options at his disposal.

Fellow Oriolers don’t be afraid to put pressure on bod about this matter. They are very quiet on the matter and good for us to let them know we haven’t forgotten.
Don’t let these aim directors have their cake and eat it too easily..

I’ve gone from the height of expectation with July’s famous grades rns to just being happy not to move lower than June low.
Holding but far not really happily. I can’t entirely blame Brad as he can only report the info he has but I think his comments about feeling attacked were almost as pathetic as his tiny share purchase.

Brad I know you read this so MAN UP and understand that some of us armchair gamblers have larger holdings than you. Maybe our wallets feel “attacked” by your inability to link your words with actions…
