Brad doesn’t have control over the SP but he does have control over factors (like this boatload of options) that can harm the SP.

As soon as the penny drops it’s clear there is no other way to vote.
The CEO is banking on a low voting turn out among PI’s to pass there resolutions that massively sort himself out financially but restrict our upside for no reason other than greed.
COME OUT IN FORCE and vote against. VERY LARGE % OF STOCK HELD BY PI’s could have influence here.
Anyone that doesn’t like having their pocket picked or intelligence insulted EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT to protest…

Just because aim always been like this at some point enough will be enough when stunts this brazen keep being allowed to happen.
We may even get lucky with enough support.

With no debt, few mill cash and Colombian JV free carry Brad has discounted the SP. Him and his option scheme getting chucked would actually put a premium on the SP imho.
We could forget the JV’s and leave Colombia to the experts who are funding it and see back of Brad and find a CEO who could just report back to us.
Doesn’t have to be a Friedlander mining Titan type character. Just a simple pro who doesn’t try and screw over the people that pay his wages would be an improvement.
Bet there are a few basic but honest players who would Gladly perform better than this

As ridiculous as it seems yes and yes.
After the July mega discovery and handover Brad clearly felt he hadn’t been rewarded enough already so gave impression of big 2nd half so loryser could exit and then tried to force this new reality upon those that held. Really sad thing is his plan to spoil himself is very close to happening.

The lack of strike price is a concern and clever old market started pricing this in while we remained in the dark.

Hes played a blinder in terms of looking after himself and it’s prob too little too late for us to overturn it but we must try and protect our capital/the capital structure.

Determination of Exercise Price. The exercise price of each option shall be determined by the Board in no event shall such price be less than the Market Value per Share (which is the close price of board lot prior to date of grant) on the grant date. If Brads intentions were noble he would have at least mentioned a strike price imo.
Markets treated the SP correctly because of this. Shame some of us (kicking myself) didn’t heed the warning when sentiment died.

Why can’t Brad just quote a reasonable strike price of at least last years placing price? Or make a statement to reassure on finances/cash runway?

It all lets the SP drift down to a range he can fill his boots with options dirt cheap and then lo and behold the SP will reverse and updates will flow.

I wasn’t sure if he was just “lucky” at first but the evidence against him is stacked.

I’ve voted against this morning. Really simple, called the broker, went through to Corp actions and they registered my votes on the phone and confirmed.
Will be interesting to see how many other votes are against when we get the results. Can’t see enough of a vote to swing it but at least Brad sees we know how we are being played and might not push his luck again.
Although he won’t really need to if this passes as he’s just turned the game massively in his favour and won’t even need to humour us well tiny purchases.
Why bother when he’s securing himself the equivalent of a free bet with no downside and a salary as well..

Bhargav if you want to act as spokesman for a group of shareholders that aren’t comfortable with the “moral hazard” on these “performance” options I’ll happily put my no of shares/votes behind it.
Maybe we could get a large group with a large vote?

It’s not simply the low SP that bothers me as most of the stock I held onto earlier this year is suffering. It’s just the fact that he benefits so much more by seeing SP walked down and seems happy to leave us feeling vaguely informed. That’s what annoys me.
At first I thought he was simply confident to let the asset talk however I didn’t expect him to let the SP drift and drift and drift and drift.
Even if he put out a basic update that mentioned robust financial position, fully funded into whenever it might help but no.
That’s why I think he’s happy to see it drift and benefit himself by saying f all to address the relentless decline..

He must realise he’s not very popular with many of his own shareholders and I really hope that he tries to bridge the gap rather burn the bridge by becoming even more indignant.
Presumably fact that he has partners with endlessly deep pockets gave comfort he didn’t need to schmooze PI’s but if he wants to intro his own JV’s they will need funding separately at which point he may well have to call on his PI’s.
Sure he’s already worked this out but will be interesting to see what he does to keep his holders on-side with him and not just the Colombian assets.
