The problem here is all the BS they were spouting about cash provision “choosing to be loss making” and brand building.

Said it at the time and saying it again, total bolleaux.

Why would you “choose to be loss making” with a business that’s 2 weak/soft quarters away from serious financial difficulty?

At best seems foolish at worst misleading

She’s overseen a catastrophe while giving the impression it’s all good it’s all about brand building.

In actual fact she was modestly increasing t/over by spending marketing bucks that she was supposed to be expert at. All she did is increase the spend in a loss making activity and hoping for the best.

Reminds me of a privileged kid who doesn’t really know the value of money blowing the trust fund.

Just an absolute gamble of a strategy to continue with if you look back at it.

Bet she wouldn’t have gambled like that if she’d built this business herself and owned a chunk of it.

Shocking management and shareholder comms to move from “we have enough cash for this year” to FSP which the market sees for exactly what is it.

All her flowery talk of “being proud” and the importance of sleeping well against the backdrop of the company slowly buckling under the weight of its own costs.

A mere update on legacy won’t cut it, Little and late spring to mind.
Some may say “what else can they do?”
They have had since 2018 to realise some cash and they were very happy to use legacy assets in the research notes/investment case.
If they in fact do manage to sell this royalty within 12 months it will boost SP (from which level is snubbed guess) but the damage will already be done I feel.
Almost succeeding and failing are one and same as far as dilution is concerned.
At least the next phase post placing might see a rise if gold moves back over 2 and they put another couple of mill in the bank.
The phrase too little too late sums this up for me.
Did say I wouldn’t comment but todays Rns is not going to cut it. Raising from legacy - yes, merely
updating on raising from legacy no.

By the way DGU I truly admire your optimism, the world would be a dark place without that type of optimism but you have to be realistic.
It’s not just a case of someone buying EVE and try thing it around. Even if they paid a few mill for the data (I do think the dtc data has value in the right hands) they would have to be willing to take responsibility for the monthly losses.

If you were thinking about buying eve would you negotiate now or wait until Eve was maximum desperate?

Real reason is they realised they were going busy quicker than they expected due to increased promo activity and drop in rev’s.
It’s a fire sale but you don’t want to hear it.
I’ve owned a retail biz and you discount for cash flow as you can’t pay wages or rent in mattresses/product.

Bhargav I can’t get down to America square that day (out of the city, was going to move things around but then thought I’ve wasted enough of my time on this gamble already but would have been pleased to meet you, maybe another time?)

I’m going to speak to the nomad and try and get some answers as a final act. I will be sure to share any info I get here but other than that not going to post anymore. I have my views but have become very negative on this (not due to SP, due to change of model, lack of info. on the only venture I invested for, Brad’s skin in the game/options and voting etc).

Basically not going to average down now so just going to check price weekly (Better for my mood) and sell when I can.

So I’ll leave you all to it but will share any findings if I get a proper answer which given previous nomad experiences I’m not holding my breath.

the majority (which moves prices) imo seem to more pre-occupied with is your wrecklessly dilutive plan totally bought upon yourself by failure on legacy assets.

The market does understand as you have no plan to create value with the current structure.

What are you going to do about it?

Place 600-800 million shares? Hence total disinterest in your announcements.

Why didn’t you work harder to raise from legacy?

Why did you use legacy as part of your investment case?

Some of us are not happy with the way this has been managed particularly with regards to voting. I would like any potential investors to be made aware of the fact that votes against resolutions are not registered by this company. I would also like to know why that is..,,

Greg the corner shop at the end of my road makes more profit than this and that is an absolute fact not a joke.
Also the relentless negativity is to some realism, how can positIvity be expected when the best possible outcome would be a few p. (And that’s unlikely but not impossible)

Put aside the fact there is no debt or coupon due as the cash burn will do same damage to equity value.

A fire sale is exactly what this is (the heady combination of increased promotional spending vs lower revenues in an already heavily loss making business) but explained with so much spin it might appear strategic to some.

FlAgstaff, is the investor meeting a chance to ask any questions or is it all pre-arranged questions?

Blind optimism doesn’t help either. People will accept losses on aim as sporting losses but the BS is another matter.

How do you know he won’t issue more shares to new investors before anything newsworthy happens?

How do you know what he will unearth in Brazil or Argentina and what the costs will be? (all at Colombia’s expense)

He prob welcome getting rid of the experienced holders who are fed up with his BS and gladly replace them with some starry eyed give him the benefit of the doubt holders as he slowly kicks the can..

I actually sold most of the stock I bought sub 9 already for a thin profit.
Just got fed up of waiting for a morsel of value enhancing info..
Average back up in 17’s again but just fed up.

It’s not so much the SP performance as the AIM haircut has been indiscriminate for last 12 months, it’s just the way he has reshaped the business for his own benefit and not seen fit to give holders anything in return.

He’s indulging himself with his early JV’s and giving us absolutely nothin worth a mention on Colombia.

This is the now the Brad George show with Colombia playing a supporting role.
