I’m hoping minto ipo has been delayed and Pere sp is pricing this short term disappointment in hence recent lull.

If it’s not that reason there’s probably a bigger concern so hoping it’s simply all down to a delay.

Can any fellow Pere holders honestly say they would be that surprised or disappointed given the markets treatment of “risk” since may?

Would seem like common sense/good management to hold off floating in these conditions and if there is any other reason to value approx 10% of a 200 million enterprise at approx 5 million I can’t fathom it.

Scratching my head a bit to be honest. Won’t sell but equally can’t stomach adding more right now even though value looks obvious to a mug like me

If I was bod I’d do v small one to keep lights on (maybe 1x235k nominal) to keep lights on and then hope for better value for the other 1x235)

On the plus side gold price back above 1800 which should help sentiment in general.

Hardy plus the videos which although I admire the plan to place higher/decrease dilution I would argue do not require seperate Rns/costs (comes over a bit desperate doesn’t it?, maybe I’m just market grumpy being over critical)

Sincerely hope they don’t place down here but starting to think they fired all their rns bullets. Maybe we will see some director buying next but worst case scenario they do a placement, get the disappointing part out the way and then we can all start looking up the table rather than looking at relegation zone.
Cheesy analogy on my part but I just think removing the placing axe will allow the glass to become half full again

Wondering if IPO postponement?

Don’t have any evidence but the price action is odd and I wouldn’t be too disappointed as sentiment is very weak and not great for Ipo’s. Holding off could be wise..

Canetoad I’m intrigued as to how/why the market will value Pere post minto float. Hypothetically they could sell roughly half position and totally underwrite current mcap with cash and still own 5% ish.
I don’t think they will sell any at the float as the convertibles were issued to avoid equity dilution in minto but does make a mockery of pembridge mcap.
If ceo wasn’t skin heavy I’d be concerned at recent price drop but more interested in adding on any further weakness due to his position and recent activity..

The thing is unless they come out and say fully funded until whenever the market will continue pricing in the placing. Dilution not going to be welcome at this mcap but I’m starting to think only way it moves back up is for bod to bite bullet. You can’t spoof a market in these conditions. Sentiment has been shocking of late across the board.

The 2x235k applies to the nominal SP so in effect should mean closer to approx a couple of million raised if (big if as they clearly don’t want to place down here hence rns flurry) at today’s price.

Realise most people prob know this but I wasn’t sure so Checked with co. Broker so just providing clarity to anyone like me who wasn’t sure…

Yep seem to remember ggp issue price 2p and stock fell to .1 (down 90%) before the fun started.

Goes to show it’s far too early to turn negative on Oriole at this stage

1p again is when not if imo. What’s your definition of soon?
Within 12 months can comfortably see 1p within 6 months probably 1p within 3 months possibly 1p

If gold hits $2000 which Goldman’s are forecasting (and let’s face it not often wrong) 1p could be very conservative.

Disappointing price action but being Friday after a good week was to be expected imo.

A placing is also when not if so much depends on what price next one happens at and whether SP can allow for warrants to exercise in the meantime to push out placing timetable and allow catalysts such as next results/gold price/market sentiment to take effect all have huge impact on amount of dilution and speed of return to a sustainable 1p level…

I’ve got a decent chunk of these by my standards, my view is that at present this is simply a better ratio/value way of getting minto exposure. Simple view based on simple maths from me but the ceo is putting his money where his mouth is.
Nobody likes these convertibles but they don’t look like an issue unless 14% above strike price and even then not worth converting like for like.
Been reading your posts with interest and I do agree if you don’t understand something you shouldn’t be invested in it but isn’t there more bang for buying buying this at current level?

No I’m honesty relaxed about this. Even if they place these levels I’ll be gobsmacked if we don’t see 1p plus again. If they do hold off the placing might even see some warrants exercised and a quick return with gold ascending again.

If you enjoy a gamble odds are good here in my amateur opinion

Plenty of explorers yes but not many gold explorers with such a low mcap. I’ve been heavily focusing on gold sector. Try and name some as I’m sincerely interested in cheap gold plays)
I’ll start off with Conroy (which I would never risk a penny on and highlights the attractiveness of Orr at 8 mill)

Already have Cora and Omi that both reported spectacular drills last week but neither are valued 8 mill or below.
But I agree Cora shaping up nicely.
Any other gold plays as cheap as ORR with same upside “potential”?

High .7s avg for me and 5 figures in red but truly not too concerned. (Might be different if I hadn’t done so well on it last time round so playing with profit).

Yeah it’s all a but negative/underwhelming at the mo. but if any posters here know of a better good play sub 8 million mcap I’m all ears…

Yeah added today.
Value exists on this mcap , doesn’t have momentum yet but will reverse sharply before long imo.
Don’t think they will do inevitable raise too soon as gold price looking perky and more results to possibly increase SP.
Think they will hold off and try and get it away higher…
