If xtr owns 0% market can only value any positive results at 0% until it de-risks in 24 months..

Do you think this is an efficient use of xtr limited time and funds?

Also do you think it’s acceptable bod haven’t purchased more xtr stock after paying themselves a bonus for selling Manica?

Genuinely interested in the glass half full view on these matters..

For balance I do think this a close to bottom level to buy xtr shares but of course price action and fundamentals are 2 different things..

Just not impressed by the last JV

After reading Ben’s post a few times for amusement I decided to re-read the last drilling chilibwe rns again just to see if I was too harsh a judge on first impressions. Decided to read it when in a light hearted mood to see if I could find more positivity in that last rns.

The truth is after reading it again it seems weaker to be honest.

There’s not only the fact that drilling is being paid for on a project under legal review whilst the equity % is zero, there’s also the fact nothing is disclosed in terms of the targets referred to. No data on how many holes, metres etc so impossible for xtr holders to know the scale of the loans/level of risk (maybe we will be lucky enough to get that info. Shortly).

But the main value point which really needs clarifying is what valuation do the loans convert into equity at? 30 million has been stated as chilibwe value (seems high if you look across AIM explorer sector), if that’s what xtr are converting loans at it seems very unrewarding for the level of risk (CL favours?)

Basically after trying to find some positivity on the last rns I couldn’t. There’s no way the rns provides for any determination of value.

Just a vague activity to either help cooper lemon or feign proper exploration activity is all I can see.

I’d gladly welcome anyone (thinking Zap) to make a case for how it’s good business for xtr. I’d really appreciate it in fact.

ST Bhargav opinion changed dramatically because the fundamental investment case changed dramatically. To me that’s logical but everyone’s prerogative to disagree.

The bulls think it’s just a matter of time for Anza to show value in the SP again

The bears think that even if pepas delivers good grades, so what? What about all the other issues..

An uplift to 3-3-5 on good grades if not painfully delayed would not surprise me.

See it as less a game changer, more of a game extension.

We all have different views on the stock, in real life we would probably all get on much better. I like to think so anyway

The problem here is that when the bears point out the holes in the investment case specifically certain bod shortcomings, behaviours and on occasion lies. The bulls can’t defend the investment case so resort to attempting the discredit the poster because they can’t defend the indefensible.

If a CEO will not back himself or his own company at a discount to cash value that’s ridiculous, I don’t care how old he is.

Might as well just wave a massive red flag for all to see…

Words are cheap and easy to come by Colin.

Opaque JV’s in Zambia are too.

Colin needs to put his money where his mouth is, considering

1. we all know how much cash he pulls across the network

2. XTR share price is barely holding nominal value…

3. Shareholders are getting SO fed up that I wouldn’t rule out a shareholder revolt, especially in a business with 750k being paid in quarterly.

With an XTR mcap less than cash owed how can directors justify not buying recently?

Why waste xtr limited time and cash resources drilling a project that xtr “might” own 25% of in 2 years time?

Agreement says the loans/spends can be converted into equity.

If the conversion valuation in the 30 million mentioned I don’t see how this helps xtr sp In short to medium term.

In fact I think it looks like a bit of a desperate knee jerk reaction to rising outrage from holders about how the business is being run.

The fact they paid themselves bonus/comish for Manica sale disgusted me given xtr share price destruction.

The fact they didn’t see fit to re-invest any of that back into xtr disgusted me even more.

Maybe Bird will buy big (he should to support his own statements and strategy)

If he’s not buying because of his age that’s total confirmation that he’s either too old or doesn’t care about or believe in xtr share price…

Bhargav - I agree fully with your posts about the bod here and their agenda.

ST123 I’ve never filtered anyone and don’t intend to start now but let’s just say on the subject of mindlessness we disagree 100%

As they have given themselves a payrise and options which are “in the money” at 3 and a half pence how could they think that wasn’t enough reward for a period where they:

-did no value enhancing exploration

-lost control of primary asset

-diluted holders twice just to get primary asset back

-saw company lose most of its cash and market capitalisation

In the real world they would be voted out or lucky to keep their Cushty jobs but in the crazy unaccountable world of Omi they decide to give themselves extra rewards.

The RSU’s are free shares and in my opinion granted at 0 per share.

How else can you issue free stock?

The whole NPV status becomes relevant as shares with a nominal value legally can’t be issued below that price.

NPV or no par value puts no floor in the price per share…..

I find it difficult to believe these RSU’s haven’t received more scrutiny but I guess if you are a bull on this stock psychologically easier to ignore…

These clowns are diabolical liberty takers, everyone can see it even if they choose to ignore it, as is their prerogative.

The options mean they can buy shares at 3.3p which so no need for them to risk their cash.

But the RSU’s in addition to the Options, that’s another matter.

They are basically free shares on top of the options. Another 2 fingers up to holders

Good few mentions of capital constraints, yet no mention of salary constraints.

Funny that - you could be forgiven for thinking they were doing everything to cut costs.
