In that case welcome to UK stocks and in particular the small ones that do move dramatically and sometimes drift without updates. COPL has definitely been one of those.
Important thing with AIM is to take profits where possible. Some smart traders I've encountered take profits on the way up and often leave in what are effectively freebies born out of trading the stock movements.
For BBSN, I have struggled to find something to compare it to as it seems so unique. Usually you could find something in the same sector and roughly the same size and compare P/E ratio's for example but mroe importantly with small stocks is their outlook/development plan. The size of your investment reflecting your then risk appetite. Theres some really good posters on here that will provide updates/stats. Sometimes you just have to filter out the noise from others to find it though.
No worries. I believe with how tightly held this is and with continued performance this will perform well. BBSN and BZT are my other plays. BBSN appears quite special and BZT heavily undervalued. I have a very minor holding in COPL and will look to increase off the back of news or a placing, whichever comes first - thankfully I pulled out just before the recent drop in SP started. Another three worth a look are I3E, ALGW and EVG. Spread and diversify I've learned in these small firms. Lost too much in the past with putting all my eggs into one.
Got to be realistic in the short term. It may go beyond that and many LTHs are hoping it will. There will be people trapped in at high prices that are also hoping it will go beyond it. When this turns into a winner though I will be letting it run as a winner and see where and when it starts to run out of steam.
Hi Rob, from what I can gather he is a resident of the Isle of Man. I am of the belief that him and Ward have worked together previously in other firms. Bell has been known for associations with recruitment firms and online betting firms. I cant find anything to suggest he did do anything wrong but there was investigations for avoidance of tax. Read into that what you will but I couldn't find any convictions just an investigation and that HMRC didn't like it.
Be 200p on funding easily... I dont think this is on many peoples radars at present. As soon as people become aware at just how few shares there are and if a herd tries to pile in this will soar.
Hopefully it does a tern like rise first though and flies to 50p before being bought out most likely by a social media giant or broadcaster for even more.
It could just be sentiment. Placing is inevitable and because of that people will sell and maybe get back in lower with the placing. If some of my other shares pay out in the short term I will be back in this with more and not with the measly balance I currently have.
Your comment is reflected in the Jan 2018 RNS. They state 'Significant sapphire stock remains available for sale when market demand improves and the Company's minimum reserve prices are met'
Joys of people taking profits unfortunately but without the trading this gem may go unnoticed by many. Its rise early on and its volumes today will make it noticeable by many others.
Very comprehensive. It looks like I took a figure for med and high grade. Can the silicon carbide not be sold though? Good for bullet proof vests or Porsche brakes...
Their holding is huge still. Doesn't concern me. Better that they do actually reduce and give us PI's more to buy! Or maybe have another II accumulate and share the growth. If they are reducing their stake gradually though I approve of how they are doing it by ensuring they don't tank the price.
Just read up on GSR, horrible that! Plenty of these small firms seem to do very little yet take alot of shareholders cash and just spend it! Flow BB makes for an interesting read as well...
