Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Hey all, fantastic rns's this morning! Looking back on the financial accounts, the rnli are spending roughly 80 per annum on lifeboats, property and equipment. The question is how much of that pie is in maintenance h&w will get in terms of revenue. I would hazard a guess that it's in the tens of millions, not just a few mill. Bodes very well for reputation and revenue security meaning a move towards a debt facility rather than placings going forward. A very nice bit of business indeed! Gla
OT thanks for posting! Again I reiterate the news due on the scillonian 4 build is by-passing most here. This visit demonstrates we are well in the running for this new build - a contract worth over 30 mill and very near term! Exciting times on top of all else to be excited about here. Gla

OT I'm bumping your message up. I don't think the significance of this imminent news has got the attention it deserves. Published date is autumn (very recent!) giving a contract announcement by end of this month. We should be getting news on the building contract next week surely??

From June 2018 think in Jan 19 it reached 2.2p intra day (I bought at peak!) Making the mcap about 20 mill.
Roly thanks for your thoughts and bubble. Let's not forget this is just islandmagee valuations. Add the flagship build and the fss plus navantia renewables tie up and the sp could be well north of £1.50 by then! I appreciate we might be getting ahead of ourselves, but let's allow some room to dream. For far too long us lth's have been suffering and it's very pleasant to be in a position of optimism at long last
Hi Roly, assuming a 300 mill facility then I reckon a 40 percent equity retained equals 120 mill plus 15 mill back costs. However there's also the revenue for fabrication going into the coffers. That's excluding any actual revenue and profit. And we may be able to retain more equity depending on govt backed financing. Who knows in reality but it's nice to dream :)
The protestors major concern is in the 100 metre plume of brine located 7 metres from the sea bed. This is their environmental issue. And it has been dismissed by daera as inconsequential. I can't help but think they are barking up the wrong tree on this gas regs issue. It's a completely different subject matter and there is no way the gas regulator will override daeras decision due to environmental concerns.
Thanks for the post stokey. Do you know the typical timeframes of such legal action if brought and when they'd need to do it by? Would construction be allowed to go ahead in the meantime whilst case was being heard? It's a basic question and in my head has a simple answer of no, construction can't start. But would like to know for certain if possible?
Agree with everything you say Stokey thank you. I do not believe any dilution is required for islandmagee.
Re the gas storage licence link kindly provided, does that satisfy your query relating to gas regulator approval? Are protestors going down a rabbit hole? I interpret it as a yes. Even if not, the key approvals have come with the marine licence and I have no worries about what leesadee hopes are hurdles. Seems pretty run of the mill from the criteria required
I asked or commented on a raise a couple of days ago but it didn't get much response...do you not think that a raise with institutions above the SP is possible? Obviously previous raises have been massively discounted. But sometimes, when unlocking value, companies negotiate above SP. I think ITM managed it a couple of years back. What dya reckon folks? Not saying a raise is due soon but surely we are in a stronger negotiating position now?
LSE I just listened to it, and your summary is top notch. Nothing to add lol. I'm pleased no mention of environmental concerns which together with a few of the articles I've read is not getting much attention at all! Bodes very well. Here's to another good day all
Nice one LSE, will catch it on iPlayer later. Any concerns from interviewer around the environmental impact? Hopefully focus was on jobs, energy security and hydrogen potential?
