I would hope that for once we will be able to raise at a premium of the share price given the huge value potential of the project? Other companies manage it and I get well jealous. Surely we now tick the box for it too do you think?
Let's face it, we are all here to make money. With that being said, can anyone post reasonable sp predictions based on the project. When this is shared, all who have access to twitter need to get on there and retweet the crap out of it. This mL is why we have been here for so long. Let's enjoy the ride finally
Re the ML, I'd like to think it could land on any given day, however if I was a betting man (I must be coz I'm invested in aim companies!) Then I would say it's going to be announced on a Thursday. Why? Because that's when Poots has his weekly time in the NI assembly. Anyways, gla
Appreciate your reply Lottie thank you. Certainly wets the appetite for me and reminds me of why I initially invested. H&w may well be the lifeline and big brother in the long run but make no mistake, islandmagee is a mammoth asset just waiting to be realised and it's nice to be reminded of that. Thanks again. Now let my imagination run a bit more for once, imagine the value of harl if we get the carrier maintenance contract, the fss and the national flagship :O absolutely huge sp! Gla
A very good question ban! The next question is, is the granting of the ml the last piece of the jig saw? Like literally we have the funding ready to go to start building. Or will it drag on for a bit longer after. If it is all systems go, assuming no government backed funding and a retained equity of 40 percent, then I put the project value for infa at 40 mill, plus 15 mill back costs. However, for 7 caverns then project value for us is 120 mill plus back costs. Then on top of this we have around 40 mill revenue going to h&w for fabrication. But that doesn't take into account any revenues from the caverns themselves. So if everything goes to plan I reckon 48p on top just for the 2 caverns. How much will the sp increased solely on the ml decision? I literally haven't got a clue, but more often than not, news gets "priced in' to an sp, so that could mean we have an sp of 66p before not too long based on 2 caverns? To conclude, I haven't a clue but thought I'd have a stab at it all the same :)
Lisa nandy just mentioned gas storage when criticising lack of govt planning. My point being, it's being recognised still and not just by industry or the papers. Surely now has never been a more pressing time for islandmagee to happen. We know it, now the politicians are starting to know it too....I hope. Gla
OT I think the article is using old info. We were part of the group prior to administration, but that changed once infa took over. Essentially Bab**** sought other avenues as we were a company going down the pan. We don't have any work coming our way via Bab****... yet. Might change for the fss who knows
That would be a wonderful day on social media if it ever happens Si. I never condone trolling but my lord IL be making a 24 hour exception! Good point re chart's. I guess the question is how much is the ml worth (Nobby sorry for butting in on your thread!). With 2 caverns the capex is roughly 100 mill I think. Assuming 40 percent equity that's a 40 mill asset excluding any revenues. With wind in our tails (remember sp rises are mostly around potential not reality) it really could multi bag based on the perception or prediction of the value of islandmagee with 7 caverns which is an asset worth 300 mill I think. Again excluding revenues. So yes to the moon we shall go :)
I'll answer that one Nobby...we'll be going to the moooon!! Unfortunately by the time Poots makes a decision Musk will already have put a colony on Mars. Saving any dilution before that I think sp has got to at least get into the 50's (and maybe even a lot more) but I'm not looking at any charts for that, so over to Lottie...gla
OT that's part of it, all I get on your link is a single comment from Jag Patel but yes that's the consultation I was referring to. I remember watching a live committee that invited oral comments from Bab bae and unions. In it, Bab were heavily defending their view that the status quo is efficient, competitive and exportable. This news today is a firm reflection that they are incorrect in their arguments
Bare with me folks as it's been a good while since all this occured. During the ship building / industrial / procurement consultations, Babs argument were essentially that no reforms were needed in the industry, the status quo is efficient and competitive. Their way of doing things was brill and could be evidenced by having exportable products (ships). H&ws argument was that it is a duopoly that is highly inefficient and needs disrupting in order to be competitive and generate export potential through modern and efficient ship building design and techniques. Bab**** have just lost the Greek order for the arrow head 140, blowin a huge hole in their argument that they are competitive and exportable. Hopefully the arguments for team resolute and h&w being a friendly disruptor have been proven a little bit more this morning. Apologies for my lack of memory, but hopefully someone else can point to Which recent consultations / committee where industry was invited to give their views on the future of ship building.
