Ray of course you could be correct and all of us only give an opinion as how we individually see things.

I put my views in the context of recruiting a. Head of CMC,a Head of Programmes with extensive CRO experience ( which not sure they would need if a partner was to fully fund and run the p3 trial) plus the comments from within the SCLP Senior Management Team who seem keen to take the Science as far as possible and I believe are inherently planning for a much longer timeframe than the likes of LD et

I deliberately avoided mention of the funding word knowing that some see it as scaremongering as we know they are cashed up until I think Q2 or Q3 2026 but as it has been raised I will put my thoughts and welcome any other.

I really don’t think there is anyway they can progress on all fronts unless they have a big raise unless of course they do a pivotal deal with another bio pharma though any Genmab payments will help.

So what I have been looking for is whether SCLP will run the p3 trial in house or will an external partner pay for it as that is the really big bucks.

The fact SCLP are recruiting all these people and I think the desire to progress it as far as they can then unless a blockbuster offer comes in I think they have already decided based on current data.

I think they will already be exploring options and will want to tie up the finances by Q4/25 at latest but it could be earlier or later I am simply trying to guesstimate.

What am not sure is will it be in house with a full service CRO or use the Vax Pathway to recruit and use the CRO to crunch the numbers but suspect the latter

My initial thoughts would be this hire plus the earlier new Head of CMC increasingly confirms to me that SCLP are more likely to progress the anticipated iSCIB phase 3 in house as well as seek to progress the other platforms

CW no worries but main point is the whole initiative is great for U.K. life sciences and as a leading player with fantastic potential it has to be really positive for SCLP as we saw from p27 which you drew my attention to as I had missed it.

Hi TF prefer the TG groups though must admit the SCLP one is deathly quiet.

Apologies for missing your post yesterday CW and p27 of the 78 page document and mention of SCLP but trawling through the usual 100 plus daily posts on SCLP on both BBs when it is only one share plus the other omni platforms is not top of my priorities.

It is just came across the links and thought it may be of interest here.

By the way you clearly misunderstood my point about SCLP not being mentioned as if you took the time and trouble to read my post( about 100 times shorter than the 78 page document) then you would have realised that I was referring to the first link and not the 2nd more detailed link that you picked up.

If you read that much shorter article including the responses from leaders of bio pharma you would have realised SCLP did not comment unlike the egs I quoted as well as other AIM bio pharma.

I did find the mention of the Oxbridge corridor and the lab space challenge of interest and what a good position SCLP are in.

Which hopefully will be much clearer when we get the trial update this month which we all look forward to with eager anticipation.

If you look at 1st article at bottom of list is comments from players including Bion Tech and Ugr Sahin and two smaller Oxford outfits but not SCLP.

Douve personally think you are right and that setting up of GT is a tidying up exercise rather than setting up for a definite sale at this particular point in time but what happens in the future anything could happen.

It could be that if say a deal for iSCIB is announced based on data then the Science resource allocation within SCLP could be diverted towards GT whilst retaining sone centralised function of some third party was going to d9 all the future heavy lifting on iSCiB.

They may go it alone and be preparing for an increase in resources we don’t know but I do think it is a smart move to “ separate” the two franchises but not due to sone imminent sell off/ external investment into GT

Dragon what I would say is if you are looking for a buy out then the setting up of the Glymab franchise entity will help.

As I have said before it would be extremely unlikely imo for anyone to buy SCLP in its entirety ( meaning pharma rather than a hedge fund) as they would likely want one or other if the franchises not both the Cancer Vax and the Glycans.

Unlikely anyone would want both Modi and iSCIB again imo due to their strategic requirements but that is not to say they are nit extremely attractive assets to purchase it is just not how corporate pharma works.

They buy or do a deal with the specific bits of interest to them and don’t want to include other bits however valuable in that deal

Morning and does seem a very sensible step to set up a separate entity for Glymabs as a strategic decision.As others have said there are pros and cons but on balance makes sense to me particular in view of near term future inflection points.

There will be complications and challenges to sort out but SCLP does seem to have clarified its future direction which helps make informed decisions.

Seems the “ Glycan “ idea set up of a few years ago is back but with bells,whistles and a much more rounded and asset rich proposition.
