Yes I acknowledge the institutional demand as I can clearly see the pattern and also checked who is buying and who is selling.

It was Lindy who has mentioned the idea of a raise so please just dismiss that concept that it was me who raised it first.

Are you denying that it is a prime duty of a CEO to access funds when they are available so if there is clear demand,a rising SP and a clear need to provide potentially about a third or more of current market cap to move forward at some point in the future then are you suggesting that she simply waits at some future date when conditions may or may not be favourable.

Any decent fund manager will have a top buy price in mind when building a stake.For you to pretend that they will pay any price I would suggest is disingenuous.

We all have personal opinions and that is what they are individual judgement calls.

My call and let me be very clear is that I expect the SP to continue its very nice rise and I welcome that.

Where I disagree is that without a lot of “Black Swan” events it will reach the likes of £5-8 a share in the near future.

That is based on my experience of being invested across AIM both good and bad ( in fact you learn much more from the bad choices) and course my experiences of yes a long time ago and I know you do not like me to mention it being involved with potential deals whilst being with Eli Lilly and Merck albeit at the 10s of millions of £ and not the mega billion pound deals that you predict here but I do talk and have talked to the people who do know about doing those deals.

You prefer to rely on the judgement call of someone with absolutely no Scientific qualifications or experience but that is your call and good luck with that.

I end by saying I really do not think that your way or my way is the best or worst as it is all a subjective call but I really do not understand why you feel so threatened by anonymous poster when you clearly have a very large amount invested here and I presume you have done your own DD.

As I said on the other board why do some folk who only seem to invest in one share seem to think that they have it right and that all other shares are a mistake.I prefer to have a more balanced approach relishing both positive and negative views.

Miavoce you are absolutely correct that SCLP with a positive interim analysis which I do expect can initiate the phase 3 trials much earlier which is what I would love.

However if they do this then imo and it is a judgement call and why I wanted other views then they would need to sort out the funding before 2026.

As Ruck says we all want the SP to go up and it is great to see the rise here and to be successful for patients and SH but as there seems clear institutional demand and my view is there will be a price limit they will be prepared to pay hence if they want to buy a big stake then LD will take any opportunity to secure long term funding ( also makes strengthens SCLP hand in any discussion with potential partners ).

CT post certainly highlights the timeline here through to Approval in terms of going it alone as I must admit I tend to discount the “ Black Swan” events which often many quote as being certain to happen to finance the trials.

There has been a marked shift in pharma towards Letting the smaller pharma taking most of the risk and many deals are milestone related back loaded.

As these p3 trials will be in order of £50-60m plus the CLNs and other trials then the requirement moving forward will be considerable .But never mind we can look forward to being secure until 2026 and then approval Possibly 2030/31 so could be a 20 year journey for some.

Great to see the continued rise and the institutional interest and as you will know any CEO requiring future funds at sone point will generally always take the opportunity to access finance when it is available rather than when it is required

Rucks point is purely one of accuracy that Sardesai is not an employee of SCLP and nowhere in the article does it say No Risk.

The article was extremely positive and all SH should welcome the sentiment expressed by all Company’s operating in the Cancer Vax sector.

The very positive progress SCLP are making is very beneficial for all SH and especially the big holders like GF and Inanaco but even to those with less amounts in here so we all want to see arising SP and long may it continue.

Personally I also want accuracy and balance and Lindy has always stated in every interview that there is still risk ( that view is not shared by some who see no risk) and I prefer to reflect the views of the CEO of SCLP.

Obviously as more data comes in the risk gets lessened( assuming positive data which I for one am fairly confident of) and again some have decided to go all in here which again is their prerogative but personally I prefer a more diversified approach h when investing in AIM biopharma

Ray absolutely and sure the iSCIB results will provide the best possible outcomes and maybe “ fine tuning “ is not a reflective phase of the possible improvements that may be made but without pre and post results that is difficult to assess.

Just if you look at the history of SCLP whether it be selection and development of Covid Vax strain/ the addition of Avidmab/ addition of extra Modi epitope / the continued development of some of the Glycan candidates then there is a common theme in trying to seek the best possible Science in taking the assets forward.

This approach has been criticised by some in the past and encouraged by others and both sides have their merits I am simply highlighting it as a possible rationale as to why SCLP has not updated the SCIB 1 results for a while.

There is of course another reason why SCLP may be “ slower” at releasing the trial info whilst they still are doing lots of conferences and fits in historically with how SCLP has operated.

That is to constantly seek to advance the Science and fine tune the Vaccines to get the best possible response so in this case I believe they will await the full i SCIB results before releasing the info.

This approach is lauded by some and criticised by others but it is what it is and we just have to be patient and wait.

The vet business is still bouyant as evidenced by the 20 Practices I have visited this week and the corporates are still interested in buying the right practices.

Good to have broken the 1000p area and very large UT looks good to me.

The CMA does have an issue with the vertical integration of some of these Corporate businesses and the cautious welcome by the RCVS to the proposals tells me a Market investigation will proceed.

However concepts like the Healthy Pet Club are endorsed by the CMA and are applicable by bith I deoendent and corporate vets alike.

CVS are in a good position as their Crematoria business is a very small bit of operation and their referral sites are not in monopolistic situations

The Genmab deal is a case in point and illustrates the thinking of several posters. They make the instant leap from where we are now to a £600m+ incremental valuation to SCLP conveniently missing out the considerable risk,7-10 year timeline and future dilution.

Why do they think Genmab only paid about 1% of that figure direct to SCLP and the rest milestones as if it was such a dead cert why would SCLP not held out for a much bigger slice of the pie.

As you said we may get there but please let us have a balanced debate about probabilities of success and appropriate valuations not pie in the sky speculation based on what May happen not by those dreamers who reside on fantasy island.

Where do I say anywhere about the SP bit not doubling or tripling.RR talks about 50p which is a five fold increase and if it all comes good it could easily get beyond that even to £1.

What I am countenancing against are the valuations in the multi billions which some on here have been espousing for over 10 years.

You can see the likes of RW response to anyone that does not agree with at least a 10,20 or 50 fold increase from current levels he simply resorts to type of anyone who does not share his vision by one line caustic utterances.

What is amusing is he actually believes there is some sort of “ boiler room” conspiracy to deliberately keep the SP here low.

He could not be further from the truth as there is no need do anything so count up how many posts the likes of me have made on here the last 6 months hardly any and like any SH I want the SP to rise the only difference being I along with others take a much more balanced view and are not in such a desperate situation as likes of Ratty and the other over exposed glee club who ignored the astute advice they have been constantly given

Nice balanced post RR and a reminder of reality here and in fairness I do think a lot more LTH have readjusted their expectations to a more realistic level here.

Some of the more ambitious valuation targets as you say make a complete leap between undoubted great potential and blockbuster Approved drugs totally ignoring the risks,the timeline and the additional costs in getting there all of which are going to seriously impact on the journey here.

It is hard to try and out a valuation on the current assets in terms of what someone may pay but I will make a few observations.

I doubt one party will make a specific bid for the whole of SCLP given the diverse range and stage of assets so the value is not the sum of all the parts.

Is really hard to guess but imo the outcome here will be determined by RM and Vulpes and in particular the CLN conversion next year.Redmile will have an exit strategy which may or may not be aligned to that of SH but they are unlikely to await the full potential of each and every asset.

Those that say the likes of SCLP cannot go private are simply guessing as none of us know but if they intend to progress the drug development of iSCIB 1 they may decide that is best served by going private and the BoD will be persuadable if required.

I am confident that we will each see a nice return from these levels but be prepared for a wait at least 12-18 months but AIM liquidity is horrendous at the moment and you need to attract new investors to make the SP move in a significant and sustained manner.This will not be achieved by a few LTP topping up here as many if very happy with their level of holdings and we need positive and regular newsflow.

SCLP have never been one for providing regular updates and often the news whilst very positive is often accompanied by further improvements to the Science which Althoigh welcome in improving outcomes has to be balanced against the extended timelines it invariably leads to.
