Who knows for sure? Let us hope the general calls it a day and gracefully slips into retirement or, on the other hand, is held up on corruption charges and forcibly retired. Either way, surely this mounting pressure must be having some effect. GLA.
Yes, back in August 2018 but it is Pathfinder Mozambique involved here, NOT Pathfinder Minerals.
The board of Pathfinder Mozambique (which was set up by the general) are obviously not happy with him and his daughter and want them removed : I wonder why ? Could political pressure be mounting on them in Mozambique for the theft of the mining licences and the board has caught wind of an expected conviction ?
Can't find any further info. on this but maybe someone out there knows something?

News on the EGM anyone?
Thank you Richard for your responses and for your openness. Cool heads should prevail here, hopefully. Good luck to all fellow investors.
Sorry, I do not understand the 1st half of your post bbr391 but do agree with the 2nd half. IMHO the time to bail out would be if and when Align Research dump. Come on Richieboy, please comment !!
And so we patient Share Holders wait and watch but still crave Positive NEWS and Credible EXPLANATIONS.
longandwrong, if you cannot wait why not email info@pathfinderminerals.com and Richard now ? I totally agree with you that the CEO SR Brown or any other board member(s) should clarify the situation for all shareholders immediately.
Richard was quite active a little while back on this board and gave answers when questioned - I assume he is still reading our posts here so maybe allow him some time to respond to our concerns ? A week from now would seem reasonable before emails being sent directly?
I think that in all decency,Richard Jennings, you owe us fellow shareholders an explanation please ??
Link does not work but as it was to AGM resolutions would not contain any further details. Questions raised and answered at the AGM anyone ?
Positive steps this week but has anybody else noticed that there has been nothing since April 2016 from the General on his blog? Could this be taken as a sign that he does not want to upset the apple cart during negotiations or was he told by a higher authority not to? I am looking forward to the next RNS !! GLA.
Many thanks !! Sod's Law dictated that a proxy form arrived in the post later the same day from my Broker - maybe I should sell some PFP now and watch the price skyrocket LOL.
And so the battle of opinions continues....who is to believed and taken seriously? A 50/50 gamble either way imho. as is the end result. I hold PFP shares with an online broker and have emailed PFP as I have not received the circular or a reply as yet. Would I have to attend the EGM in person to get a vote?
Vote Trew & Bellingham out and then invite The General onto the BOD with the provision that he surrenders the licences to PFP. Now that's an idea !!!!
Yes a change in fortunes (long suffering shareholders anyway) is certainly well overdue. Will a change of BoD suffice to get the job done..who can guess? Certainly the delay announcing the EGM date by the current BoD and their lack of a response to what could be a shareholder revolt is ominous. Just supposing they do have an ace up their sleeve in the form of an impending court judgement or an out of court settlement though, either would make for a very interesting meeting and vote.
STRONG STUFF !! Any response from Mr Trew and/or Mr Bellingham should be both very interesting and telling. I can't wait to see how this situation pans out. Exciting times at PFP for a change.
RICHIEBOY666 : As a long term private investor may I politely inquire : why, if things are so bad, did you (Align), being professional investors, even consider investing in PFP in the first place ??????? There had to have been a good reason surely.
Noted that the Pathfinder response to The Times says that full salary is not being taken : now is that below a 170K salary or 170K being below a higher salary? What about the 000's paid out to Henry for "services" ? No mention of that. One thing is certain : shareholders are not getting value for money!! Could Align be a tool for the General just to get revenge by getting Trew ousted? No-one attached to this debacle is to be trusted one inch in my humble opinion.
goldminer21, my personal view is that with the Moz & UK Govts involved here, to save face the Moz side are pressuring for an out of court settlement and delaying a court ruling. Something has to give soon - just hope it is favourable for PFP shareholders & the people of Mozambique. I am happy with the BOD to continue as is but would be a lot happier if they were to put their PFP earnings on ice until a deal/ruling is done and dusted. The EGM will hopefully clarify the situation and answer a lot of the concerns raised on here.
Yes indeedy goldminer21. Too much heated flack/rumours etc flying around on here - no posts should be or can be taken seriously. Yes the prospects are good IF the Moz Court rules to give back PFP the stolen licences OR an out of court settlement is agreed without wiping out or seriously diluting existing shareholders. Both scenarios will only make for a good result if either is made well before the licences expire!!. I, for one, am prepared to wait and see how this all pans out. Meanwhile I will be very interested to read the official proposals and responses by all parties involved in this fiasco and continue to be amused by everything else.
