RE: GCAT is a bargain30 Dec 2021 18:33
AG,
" ones that live in Hope of a discovery hole" - But then that's just the start of finding out whether that discovery is economic to mine. Thus the FS studies are done to figure it out, after looking into metallurgy, strip ratio, topology, access to infrastructure, location of plant, cost of building the mine and plant...etc. Then if its economic, then can they get the environmental and mine permits. Can they get the finance and on what terms. All the above requires cash to do those studies.
The world is littered with discoveries that will never be mined, as most aren't economic.
Yet GCAT is already there and what many maybe missing here is, it's debt free!!
No capital repayments(and interest) for the cost of building the Mine and Plant, so all cashflow from Kili is going to expand capacity at the Plant and in exploration. From the ~1,000p/m projected now, to the planned ~1,500 p/m by mid next year after the 2nd Ball Mill(which is already on site, yet need refurbishing) is installed, which has the same capacity as the one in use now.
