I'm not sure that RBD has a commitment to pay part of the $11m to exercise option. My understanding is that an agreement with Gunvor is being negotiated by the end of this year and the option expires 01.02.25 so all being well, being granted the permits triggers the Gunvor payment which allows LNe Ltd to exercise the option. I guess it depends on whether or not the Gunvor payment is sufficient to fund the option and capex to first gas?

RNS 19.08.24 re Andrews-2 - this is what Bramhill stated...

Under test conditions production rates of 184 barrels of oil and 320,000 cubic feet of gas per day have been recorded

Due to high wellhead pressure of 1,250 psi, oil and gas production is currently constrained and the choke reduced to 14/64" (approximately 25% of choke size)

Work is ongoing to reach optimum production on both Andrews wells to obtain the perfect balance of choke size versus line pressure and oil rate. Production rates remain variable whilst a stable flow rate is established

Morning uggy, here's what Bramhill said in the RNS months ago. I suspect he would argue that it's reasonable to include background information.

"Similar low-cost development wells nearby, typically produce initially at approximately 150 barrels of oil and over 200 thousand cubic feet of gas per day and can provide rapid pay-back within six months."

My issue is with the "major success" statement having set the benchmark at 150bpd - clearly it is a long, long way from a major success.

Those are the August numbers, Sept. was 28.3 bpd for A-1 and A-2 combined - better than nothing but not quite the "major success" announced by Bramhill (Sept gas data not yet online)
