mcap almost down to half cash, the consensus seems to be if nova lose the company's in real trouble, well rather than the government getting their grubby little hands on all the cash, how about showing the shareholders some love by spending a few mill on a buyback

Harri when you say upgrade do you mean gas monetisation? Egdon seem to be very slow in that respect, remember Bramhill saying last october "by the end of the year" when they were going for GTW? Then in the spring it quietly changed to GTG with no explanation as to why they had dropped GTW. One interesting aspect to this is that I recently asked MA at Egdon if GTW was restricted to 10 tons emissions per day, he said no, GTW has no restriction, the limit applies to flaring only. btw, North Lincs Council is still not showing an application for a pipeline at Wressle (I assume one is required).

pboo, what are your reservations re holding the shares in treasury? as I see it, if DB's broker can pick up a couple of million shares sub 35p (for example), they can sit in treasury until the sp is significantly higher - perhaps due to a successful side-track at Kedd/Bisc or GTG at Wressle - then spin them off at a significant profit to an II

Special Dividends are not included in a yield calculation as more often than not they are one-off events

hopefully Finals this week with good revenue & cash numbers - going forward I would like EOG to publish regular cash/production/revenue figures, quarterly at least, rather than having to rely on UJO's $1m milestones to get an idea of what's going on

mymine, question for you regarding gas2wire. Your assumption is that with gas2wire and gas2grid the choke can be released to some extent. my question is wrt to gas2wire, the gas would be burnt onsite to generate electricity, is this going to generate a lesser volume of emissions than flaring? Logically, if flaring and gas2wire generate the same volume, the choke cannot be released.
