Stunning news........though we have had hints We are heading for one of the most economic underground mine layouts with a very juicy grade I say in 4 to 5 years we will have a decline shaft for rock, and a ramp from surface for men and materials. This system will service a giant longwall system with two massive divergent faces which will be sweet mining at around 60 gm/tonne.and mine for 10 years followed by a sub vertical shaft to deeper levels in years to come. Its big stuff and certainly irresistible to the big Mining Houses and you can buy the shares for under £15........Dhurrrrr !! If Ogilvy cut his teeth on the deep level RSA mines on the Rand or in the Free State then he has long wall experience and even better he will know many experienced long wall miners and Managers and Technicians in planning and supply. I am sooooooo excited Where did I chuck my hard hat and boots !!

I see RMM as small bear and just a starter Diectorship. KGI need a big hitter major to take us in as top quality ground and production capacity to contribute to profits and Divi.........that way costs can be cut by sharing centralized tech, planning and services such as buying etc. Then Ogilvy can get Himself a Directorship with a real Major Gold Mining Group. Down trend line broken and sp held above for 4 days so looking good for establishing new trend UP Yes Gold price contributing but I believe this is more about KGI and where we are IMHO and DYOR

Check the graph.........I don't claim any proficiency but the current down trend is well marked but in last 3 days we have just pocked above it and I think we can expect to break that down trend line in next week. We could go flat for a while but I am betting on an uptrend establishing soon.

At 190p we nudged the underside of a gentle down trend which started in Feb last year ( 14th ) There doesn't seem to be much water under the boat to take us lower from here so could we break this control in next 10 days.?? Either way we will break it soon.......but if MMs want to nudge 150p again fine by me .......more grist to mill...........up trend coming soon then we will lament not making more hay today. Long View or was it short view had some things to say on gold price ...........generally suggesting that we could be stabalizing at $1250 ish rather than the $900 the doom mongers are touting. Yeh .........I would be surprised if there arnt a number of Co running slide ruler over us. I think it will very much depend on their pedigree, technical and Mining prowess, and their finance. Only Co with the discipline and settled production routine to allow them to build up war chest during the good times will be strtting their stuff now. KGI defo setting out the stall.

I have long experience on PCI scheduling. Bottom of hole Mid March.......pull rods and clean up end of March Test rig moves on site first half of April. Test runs finish end of May...........digest results June .........write report July Publish August..........maybe If its anything like AT But we will see AIMHO and DYOR

The Melrose deal has made the difference. Mr Adaire sold us his Company most of which was in very very high risk geographic locations. We are currently waiting for Kurdy to de risk and so let a little of the value shine thru but that will take until August at earlies. But remember what they did with AT.............in order to evaluate the whole property they drill some holes in ground they knew was dodgy in terms of flow and permeability............in general I believe they have seriously under declared the value of AT. The reason I don't know but could it be about ..................

Good info and observation. I used to think myself lucky if I bought a 400p when the mine was producing at 30,000 oz / annum really with profit some years out. Now we are there and price still south of 200p What they call a no brainer I think. The Canadians are getting it ( still got that whole new mine found last year at just 50m depth) But I don't think much UK buying yet

Article in FT today on Randgold.........saying they are hunting for take over targets............and not necessarily in Africa their specialist area of expertize ...........but anywhere in the world. A sweet mine like KLG in a nice friendly country like Canada ...........?? But if Randgold are on the hunt then I expect all the other big boys are as well. If I am not mistaken Ogilvie's Dad was Chairman of Goldfields ( now well diversified outside of RSA with I think just the Rump of Driefontein in the old East Driefontein and Kloof in operation as their last remaining RSA properties ) So I think KGI will be a nice fit for one of the big boys.

Okay !! I'me found out.........try this weeks IC. I put my dirty mak on this afternoon and went into Smiths to read the IC...........and guess what ........yip, article on PCI pumping it up for results on the shakrok drill.. They say the test rig has already been booked for Shakrok and speculate this may suggest they have already seen evidence of the oil measures on their way down ..........enough to motivate them to commit to testing programme even having only got 65% of the way down to full depth. So my Q......are MMs loading up speculating Shakrok will be good. Bit scuppered now with bombings in Egypt, sadly.
