Four people killed in Belgium yesterday by reportedly a radicalized recently released prisoner. Failure of the Police Women to be proactive and aggressive IMHO cost them their lives and the life of a passing motorist. Life in Europe very ladida and jolly hockey stick as we all have such a luvely time and eat '' every '' day. Not like that in African. But the activities of HUM gives meaning to the lives of thousands of Malians and puts food on the Family Table each and every day. I am proud of HUM and how they do business and I will stand by them and support the Co and '' all '' employees and all Malians as they stand up for Law and Order and as they try to make and build their own country a good place to live. There are those who go to other countries and taking their squabbles and anti social behaviour with them and feel they can trash the States they move to with impunity. In my culture (European Christian) the death of a human being is regrettable and if possible to be avoided and a tragic event for their Family. We have a huge complex of institutions to try to avoid it now. Lucky us !! though it still happens. There you go smoke that !!!

Ultimately our efforts in the community will be very important to us. From our recent RNS it is evident we are having a huge impact and demonstrating real and sustained and long term benefits in the community and surrounding areas. Mine Management will now look at the interface we have with the Community Leaders and in term their capacity to communicate with and influence the tribal sections in the environs of our interest. Eventually (if not already) there will emerge a Civil set up ie Local Council run along western concepts of a local civil administration and some local Civil law with Police Force associated. Next to this and hopefully encouraged by the formal European style Administration there will likely be a tribal network. If this is strong and popular it can be very helpful and extremely influential. To give this system some form think of an a large old tree under which the community gathers to discuss issues under the Leadership of the Senior Local Petty Chief. They will discuss a topic until '' ALL '' agree. People from all parts of the community will attend including Police and local council officials. This system is very effective and potent and phenominal way of communicating in such communities. ........ though some would say very time consuming.

I am presently researching our disposition vis a vie our Dugbe and Cora resources and interests. Its my view they out Class and out rank our present Yanif mine Lease areas. Pretty much a case of the tail wagging the dog. In terms of risk and our ability to finance such development it would be better to be a part of a much bigger production unit. If we were to join the Endeavour group of mines this would creat a Mining House which would certainly be able to deploy significant and sufficient assets to raise the finance they would require IMNO. This was the system used in RSA (Mining Houses) when groups of mines provided the massive financial muscle to develop the RSA Mining industry on the Rand ie Andlo American Goldfields Anglovaal Randfontein Estates JCI etc. With Mr Roux with us now I am really hopeful this will be on the cards for 2019. I believe our Management will not imped such an outcome and even actively support such a move as in our best long term interests. It has to be said I see a top sp of 80p as things are at the moment with a bid on the table at likely close to that price. Obviously my post is intended to stir debate.
