RE: HL screen issues, anyone else having this issue29 Sep 2020 10:46
Halifax have “price locking” but it’s based on previous days close share price. I’d want something that ups it intrastate for the stocks I tend to trade.
“ Price locking An intuitive stop loss. Automatically adjusts your stop price to lock in rises when shares climb, and protect you from sharp falls.
More on price locking
Use price locking to track and benefit from a rising share price. We describe it as an intuitive stop loss; it automatically adjusts your stop loss target price each day to lock in any price rises. For example, if the current price for XYZ plc is 650p you could set a 20p Price Locking stop loss to sell at 630p. If the share price falls to 630p during the trading day, then your shares would be sold. If the shares rise and close at 660p, your stop loss order would be increased from 630p to 640p maintaining your 20p tolerance. Our stop loss facility does not guarantee your price locking tolerance price.”
