Tesla has equipped a new energy storage plant in Dorset, capable of powering 17,000 homes, in the firm's first major foray into the British power industry.

The car maker is supplying its Megapack high-capacity batteries, and Autobidder control software, to UK business Harmony Energy and Spanish company FRV for a site in Poole which will store electricity generated by wind farms and release it to the grid when needed.

It is the firs t time either technology has been used in the UK, industry sources say. Tesla declined to comment.

haha this is true, maybe an RTO / merger with PPG / Med would be better and give them a listing to raise the much needed capital against, and create a more liquid investment for Kibo.

Could these be PPGs / rockpools FlexGen sites? Probably pick them up for peanuts.

Chances are An RTO will be the eventual outcome (subject to cash).

That quote Earlier was from the MAST ENERGY Page of kibos website, they are a subsidiary of KIBO who are completing their first gas plant by year end.

Mast And Kibo have little cash (Kibo just raised £1m for other projects) but they are looking for UK gas sites and there cannot be many around, it caught my eye last week and all I could think of was little old Ppg.

Don’t read to much in to it, I’m just buying the low lying fruit, the 5+5+3m are my buys, a single more share and price jumped to 7.

As always a 50/50 gamble at 3 or 4 to 1 odds.

about £20m more in the bank in a month, so maybe about £5m more in the bank since last Monday. :)

how much actual cash does Cineworld have in the bank if you exclude any available from credit facilities, overdrafts, bonds etc.

Might have been different if JB sold more shares at IPO, he should have sold down to at least a 49% holding at IPO and not had complete control, i understand his frustrations but publicly sulking, threatening and openly treading down the share price when you own most of the company is just poor form and self destructive.

But i have to thank him for it because it gave all of us the opportunity to buy cheap.

JB selling is a temporary cause for the sp drop, and not the long term problem, look at the chart since :

anyone know the bonds have a covenant for full repayment in the event of a takeover?

i have a gut feeling the initial takeover package will be £500m including bond re-payment or refinancing.

Im not surprised that their wasn't a formal offer in the period, Alot of companies have simply paused or stopped acquisitions during covid, i have a friend that works on due diligence and business modeling for a large listed US company, the entire division has been put on furlough apart from one or two people working on deals that are all but completed.
They are using the time for internal restructuring while everyone is on furlough and plan to recommence from October.
My understanding is that alot of other companies are doing the same.

I expect that If it wasnt for covid there would have been an offer or two.

Hard to think on Wednesday it was all doom and gloom, now Amigo is the prettiest stock at the ball that everyone wants.

Maybe the "buyer" JB spoke to wanted to see come commitment.

nearly 3 x the previous highest volume day, someone was buying.

We know it will be a shell of the company that it was, and SAHL is asset stripping it of the prime assets for pennies on the £ invested, we know every airline worldwide is screwed, everyone is here for the high volume pump days before disposal when it says liabilities have reduced and its touted as a great move. Its just a trade, long term its a no in its current planned form.

It wouldn't surprise me if they end up disposing of whats left in time, and they become an actual shell listing, at which point it has enough losses to entice someone to buy the listing from SAHL to enable them to exit or they use it to reverse another asset in to and raise capital against.

The industry will have plenty of competition going bust and assets ready to buy from liquidators & administrators before year end, cant see the old "normal" levels returning till 2022.

Derisked, 100k shares left on a free carry.
