Do you think the country would be better off with or without Amigo around, is it likley that they would go to higher rate alternatives and lenders?

Is the interest rate the problem? would a lower rate help? or are you simply screwed loaning to this sector at whatever rate ?

Did most of the clients actually need to loan the money or is it just being spent on trendy consumable junk?

How many people lie on the loan application forms?

i have the same opinion cars, i dont really want to see JB himself on the board but i can see him appointing someone else to the board on behalf of Richmond as a non exec if they still have a shareholding (or as a condition on them investing in a new fund raise / bonds or stock should one happen.)

I am grateful for the opportunity he has given me, but his actions could have been handled differently.

Still trying to work out his end game plan here, hes not done yet. :)

This Lets Me, a few others and the company buy out all the Loose stock for the £5m/£10m Mcap, and puts us in a better position long term with less shares in issue, No doubt glen would love to buy up 10% of the company too at 1-5p Mcap.

Until I see a new tr1 saying otherwise in my mind they have the 8% in total of which the 7% held in one parent or subsidiary. I looked A few days ago but have not found any tr1 with both the different names on. I would be very happy to be Proved wrong and it will boom :)

The trouble with the system In that particular one Is that even if amigo offered her a 0% loan Over a longer period they would still have been at fault given the excuses made by the FOS on her behalf.

Life can be hard & unpleasant But that’s reality.

And scrubbing her details from the system just opens the same problem up to the next lender that she applies to.

FOS are after repeat business, not to solve the underlying issue.

I read that a while ago, amigo did everything that they legally needed to at the time. She lied on the Loan application (which is actually a crime) Complete overreach of FOC.

Self inflicted and Completely Ignores the fact that bankruptcy is always an option for people in this country if things get That bad, it is there as a safety net for The worse case.

If they really wanted people to lend within their means the FOS would have set up an Experian type service for creditors to use with clear limits for what they can or cannot loan And types of service that they can offer the customer.

I’ve managed to Lock myself out of my saving account with the wrong memorable answers And have to wait for reset code in the post. Think gods telling me to just stick with what I have. Haha.

If the buyer(s) of his stock are linked to the party that were looking to make an offer i bet they cant believe their luck and are making the most of JBs attitude towards his sales.

yup, i took the figures from the ft article last week, i would have expected them to be tightly held given the 7.625% rate and the outside possibility of them being paid out in full on a take over. most are due 2024 anyway.
