Every single new build in the country is built in this manner. I have never bought a new house for these very reasons. Houses are built to incredibly tight timescales and budgets. Subcontractors have a rubbish job to do; they are not allowed to be craftsmen and use their skills. It is tragic. Nearby us, on a new build estate (not a TW build), a disgruntled purchaser hangs a banner outside warning people not to buy due to poor quality.

I topped up too soon though i wasn't disappointed at the price at the time. Just considering another top up at this price.
