@ Faramog.
I totally agree with your thoughts regarding Highveld. Reading some of the posts from the IM (thanks for all that shared), if we have 24 months without raising or paying of debts, that lends me to think that that is when CC imagines Highveld will be operational. Fingers crossed and IMO, only.
The V is clearly cyclical. I'm looking at 2026-2028 for a marked increase. Which again, would tie in with CC's 24 months statement.
Was there any mention of Highveld? A very important part of SPR's investment programme. Cheap ore and rich in vanadium s-l-a-g.
""""In the absence of PDunny,""""
PMSL. It was boring the first time. And the second, and the third, etc, etc, etc.
If you were on stage, you'd get paid for this killer material. Not much though.
@ Newdealz
When the special dividend was paid in Jan 2022 (20p + 6p interim, i am sure that this was announced in December 2021. So, on Thursday, expect an announcement. I could be wrong, of course. I'm not sure if this would justify an 11% increase in the price today though.
Word reaches me that the 2 hour weekly uplift, will be removed from w.c 18.12.23. How odd that that the week before crimbo, would apparently be deemed as not high enough in traffic, to justify this. Or maybe the hierarchy are just trying to claw back time from another failed idea.
Either way, i'll be adjusting my clock to start later. But i will definitely not be finishing later.
On a positive note though: Hundreds of yorks are being diverted to Daventry for primary sorting, and then are transferred back to my local MC, for local distribution. This has resulted in dozens of agency staff being sent home early, as there is not enough work. Green credentials aside, but have RM actually done something right?
On a negative note. I was speaking to a MC driver of many years yesterday. She said that she has never seen it so "light".
This is either to do with work being tarnsferred to Daventry, or my initial thoughts about volumes being down, but size being up. Size isn't everything, you know,
I'll keep you all updated on the seasonal variation thing.
@ BobbyAxe.
Do the constant references to FM's incompetence make you feel better? If you're invested here, then you will know that he is no longer a part of the company. FWIW, i made a lot of money when FM was in charge. Yes, it was when V prices shot up. Yes, FM tried to run before he could walk. But the constant mention of his failure to achieve shareholder wealth, is extremely boring now. And you have 5 recommendations? Will you, and others, still be here in a years time spouting the same old boring garbage about FM?
@ coffeecups.
PDunny. WOW! That's really funny. Do you use that in your stage act?
Another keyboard warrior trying his hand at bullying. The whole "let's pick on PDub" thing is even more boring than the "let's pick on FM" thing.
Give it a rest. FFS!!!!

""""isleworthspy - ‘so figures will be down this year, in your expert opinion. compared to 2022?’""""
"""""figures will not be comparable to covid as i stated in my post. and ids will be fortunate if they break even in this financial year as was stated in the guidance in the last update. it’s quite simple."""""
i mentioned 2022 figures, you brought up covid in response to my post. i may have made a mistake in reading your post, but why you have to respond to something i didn't ask, god only knows. to suit your bs narrative, maybe?
""""if we were optimistic and say that the £400m is retained earnings and gls had a 50% payout ratio on those retained earnings then gls alone could support a 20p per annum dividend payment………probably around 8p interim and 12p final.""""
notice the "gls alone" bit. slightly misleading despite your "if rm could return to profit" bit. which is it?
6p interim in jan 2022, after massive profits because of me. 8p now, optimistically, probably, walter mittily? lolol.
3.5% in jan next year? is there a ****ing my pants with laughter emoji?
you've answered the profitability question. fortunate to break even!!!!
@ TheMoneyShark.
Why do you keep mentioning covid?
The RM figures for 2022/2023 were released in May this year. Covid, in April 2022 was done.
If i remember correctly, the last interim dividend was paid in Jan 2022 at 6p. There was also a special dividend at 20p. This was due to the massive profits made because of the excess volumes that i delivered during the covid years. A final was paid in September at 13p? I'm not sure why you mentioned 8p as a possibility. Especially as Martin said it would be modest. My guess is 1.5p. We'll find out in a couple of weeks.
IMO crimbo figures for 2023 will be lower than crimbo 2022. As i mentioned in my post.
IMO 2023-2024 figures will be lower than 2022-2023 figures.
Despite IA.
@ Newdealz.
""""my prediction of £3+ by the new year has not changed, expecting a nice spike here soon...""""
I admire your optimism. Maybe 3 quid plus after results in Feb 2024, after the 3 month up to end of December figures are released. Assuming they are brilliant. Which, IMO, they won't be. But, you've re-affirmed your thoughts, so good luck.
@ TheMoneyShark.
""""As much anecdotal nonsense can be gestured as possible but you don’t have to be a business magnate to understand that no records are going to be broken this Christmas.""""
So figures will be down this year, in your expert opinion. Compared to 2022?
@ Brendyboy.
I'll assume then that your office is failing miserably. Or that the excess overtime booked by the real workers on the street, is through the roof. That is the real measure of volumes.
@ Redceo
"""In case your too busy to turn up here HAPPY CHRISTMAS, ISLE""""
Why would i ever be "TOO" busy. I start at my time, and generally finish at my time. Is that a problem with you or any of the other shareholders here?
And no medals are needed. I'm not going to steal time from RM, by getting in on my time and then taking 10 minutes having a coffee and chinwag.
It finally felt like crimbo had arrived. All sorts of space constraints, and people moaning. Not me though. I was in 10 minutes early. Had a coffee, then cracked on. It soon became apparent that the "volumes" were mainly to do with bulk items. Yes, there were more parcels, large and small, but nothing to get excited about. It's crimbo.
It will be interesting to see how much excess was booked.
If the past month is anything to go by, parcel volumes will be down. In my office and IMO. Only.
@ Impecunious.
I would suggest that the doom and gloom is because OMI is sitting on a world class asset, with absolutely no power to realise it.
Let's not forget the headlines on this board after Pepas had been drilled. In the OMI news section: Orosur finds gold! Why then, would MMA drill in another area. Even Brad couldn't understand it.
I'd love to be wrong, but OMI will sell all or the majority of Apta. IMO.
@ Jebgooner.
Loads of questions, but no answers from the BOD.
I cannot believe that 14 months after the agreement to move to P2, nothing has been resolved. Despite taking the 2 million dollars to ratify this agreement.
C & M because of the volatility of the country, i can understand. But shouldn't we be updated on a regular basis. Surely, things have changed since then. There are other miners (explorers) in Columbia. Is everything still at a standstill? I cannot be bothered to look, such is my apathy regarding OMI.
I thought OMI would have seen this through to production. My views have changed. Because of the financial side of things, i cannot believe that the BOD are not discussing a sale of what would be the remaining OMI stake. 25% if i remember correctly. Or part of it.
The delay bothers me, as i think Apta could be worth a lot! Raising to fund Argentina, Brazil and Nigeria whilst still holding onto Columbia, doesn't appear rational.
IMO, OMI will sell all but 5%, giving them that %age of any future profits.
How much is that stake worth, depends on the value to a small exploration company.
I'll go for 20 million. 1 million for every % of undeveloped area. 4 times M/C. To fund the exploration of Arg, Bra, Nig and pay the salaries of the bod, of course
@ Jebgooner.
I'm in total agreement with you. The recent lithium JV. Why? The money simply isn't there. And i don't actually think they'll raise through dilution. It may upset Newmont.
The only question will be, how much for Apta? We will not get a good deal.
A very, very good reason not to invest if you cannot handle the down side.
Who am i?
You constantly claim to be in profit, despite your history showing otherwise.
You blame everyone but yourself for losing money, despite your constant denials.
You then become abusive towards anyone who has a differing perspective to yours.
The workers of any company that you are losing money in, are to blame.
You spend all day on various boards, because this is where you monitor your investments.
Yesterday must have been a nightmare, because there was nobody to engage with.
You fabricate posts from other members to suit your warped narrative.
Answers on a 1st class postcard.
@ Sid786.
""""Could the negativity regarding late letters delivery be effecting the parcel delivery business..""""
I think the fact that RM have publicly stated that parcels DON'T take preference over letters, that may affect anyone wishing to send parcels via RM. Their lies could come back to bite them on their RRR's.

@ telso.
I would suggest that you have TheMoneyShark ever so slightly rattled. For such a cool guy.
It would appear that his posts are becoming more unhinged by the day. It's only a matter of time before another ban or disappearance. And then another re-appearance as The"Loser"Shark. Please feel free to amend "Loser" to any other word.
Today's mail was not as heavy, visually or numbers wise as yesterday. In my office, that is. Let's see the fallout from Black (are we still allowed to say Black?) Friday. I cannot wait. I love working to my time.
@ wasarunner.
Thanks. Certainly an eye opener.
