I'm not well versed into the longevity of any CEO, in any company. But i would suggest that 11 years is a long time, and his time was probably done. And taking a company from basically nothing to producer, is quite an achievement on AIM. It is nice to see your gratitude though, for the trading opportunities. I assume you've made plenty (care to share any figures?), but continually denigrate the man at the helm.

I was buying BMN from 4.26p all the way down to 1.39p. I was still holding all my shares at 49p Although i didn't get out at the high point, i did make a lot of money. And all with FM at the helm. So thank you, Fortune.

I've now bought back in again in small amounts, to see where the next two years takes me.

The fact that you and the other (not all) shareholders here share your thoughts, i would suggest that trying the job would give you a proper insight into how things work. Ignorance is obviously bliss, in this case. But only for you. I have no interest in your job (if you have one) or what you do.

I raised a question to your assumption regarding electrolyte sales to the US, which you have answered.

So, following on, are you suggesting that there is no market for BMN electrolyte? Or indeed, vanadium? The Chinese nor the USA need either it would seem, so where do you think the sales for either will come from?

Sunday deliveries have been in place post privatisation. Since then, the growth in packets and when they could and should be delivered, has taken off.

I totally agree with the Chinese producing their own electrolyte, why wouldn't they? But can you tell me why it would not be cost effective to ship this to the US? Have you got figures to hand, to justify this?

And for anyone that is interested. I understand that managers will be getting news of revision lead bonuses next week.

More bonuses for stripping out duties and generating failures. Removal of FTE's were actually mentioned, which covered not only head count and agency staff, but also overtime. As well as other measures, indoors and outdoors.

I cannot wait to see how this pans out.

There is no deficit, yet.

The pensions holiday that RM took for 13 years (thanks Dowsie), has probably impacted my pension, going forward. For example, it probably lead to the final salary scheme being closed.

Where has this excess cash come from?

Was it not considered as ground breaking, and was the go to pension scheme?

If you actually read what i have posted, you will see that i have agreed with you. And many of your posts (and others) from days gone by. RM have no money. Posted here many many times by the knowledgeable. Any future dividend will be paid for by GLS. I'm sure that you have posted this before. That's all i meant.

Posties would not see the company crash. It's a lifestyle job, that's why you have so may long termers. Things may change, times may change, but if doesn't suit, many will leave. Myself included.

I do get though, that a lot of staff are upset.

There is no way any pension provisions should be used for this.

If the CWU had put this to the vote without this extra "bonus", it would have been voted through. IMO.

I still don't get how the 60-90 minutes later start times helps RM financially. Certainly not in delivery.

You mention the pension surplus.

The last time there was a surplus RM took a 10 year (i think) pensions holiday. If i remember correctly this "holiday" put the pension scheme into trouble. So, now they are using the excess for purposes that it shouldn't be used for.

So apart from the "upto 900 quid" aside, nothing has actually changed. I did mention many months ago that if the "bonus" was increased to 1500 quid, a yes vote would be a certainty. I thought it was anyway, and this has just reinforced my thoughts.

Later start and finish times? My personal bugbear. Well 90 minutes is goodbye. Interestingly though, is the creativity that you can use within SISO. To make sure that the time you scan out ensures that you aren't failing. And what about offices that have to drive 5+ miles to get o their first DP? It states that the last letter would be 15 minutes before the end of duty. Would it be possible to get back to the office, tidy up etc, and leave within 15 minutes, in traffic? Nah! Let's see how much wriggle room there is.

And as for the USO and QoS? What an absolute load of garbage! We are having the next round of revisions started within a few weeks. My office ain't bad, compared to some. But we are failing daily.

Got to read the whole thing properly, and i'm certain that i'll have differing views to some.

And regarding engagement with the CWU rep, going forward. I'll look forward to that. RM says " we are doing revisions in the next few weeks", CWU rep says okay.
