I still can't see this assumption in the article, but if you say it's there, then it must be true.
I will say though, that I don't know of any employee who works half a shift. But again, if you say it's true, then it must be.
Taking this point a little further, do you not think it's a requirement of the management to manage? If what you say is correct, and you are obviously knowledgeable in all things RMG, surely managers should be held accountable for this malpractice? No?

Volumes in my office appear to be extreme for this time of year. Whether or not it's a backlog because of absenteeism in my parent MC, I wouldn't know. But I haven't noticed a drop in volumes, pre and during covid 19, that would suggest this.
I'm still trying to get the figures from last year to try and compare to the current figures.
All in all though, parcels are up, IMO.

Packets have definitely increased in my office. Definitely not at xmas levels though.
For balance, letters are down.
What I find interesting is the amount of Amazon (prime labels on) that are coming through.
I would suggest that we are picking up their slack.
Testing kits I believe are being delivered by RMG and Amazon. We will fulfill our side of the deal, will they?
The returns we are handling within our CSP's and parcel box drop offs.

Seen an email suggesting that all D2D's are prepped on Monday, and you deliver with live mail only. Should there be any left in the frame these can be rolled over until the following week.
The 2 metre rule is just not possible to enforce in my office. If you're all standing still, fine.
