We could go on strike in the next month if it was deemed necessary. But it's not going to happen.
Will RMG accept the ballot result as it was, and let the timescales for IA roll over? Nah! Of course they won't. Come September, RMG will announce that the ballot is now void because the terms of IA and notification has not been met.
There will then be further "talks" without the presence of Mr Back, of course, and the CWU will have to ballot again.
The result will be the same. A massive yes, out of the posties who do vote.
I have a feeling that the turnout may be substantially higher.
