Until we announce another OEM win with someone as big as VW or Toyota or we announce a fleet contract with 50,000 vehicles to be installed or DMS becomes mandatory this SP isn’t going anywhere.

To be honest I’m beginning to think that those share price targets aren’t actually going to be that easy.

Nothing new in today’s RNS except a figure on the cost reduction which is great and very welcome but it was never going to excite the market. It’s what every company tries to do (reduce costs).

We need new large contracts or massive extensions from OEMs like Ford.

I think in July they stated aviation news imminent and then because that hadn’t happened they stated end of the year in an interview when results were announced. What is not clear is - is that calendar year (ie in 7 weeks time) or financial year ie June next year.

If it’s June next year then in June this year I wouldn’t have used the word imminent. I appreciate this means different things to different people but to me it’s

Imminent - within 3 months
Short term - 12 months
Medium term - 2-3 years
Long term - 5 years

To be honest though I’d rather have more info on EuroNCap and eu legislation. This will be the turning point in my eyes. I just hope nothing gets delayed and the Eu stick to the dates they have already mentioned and of course DMS is definitely a major part of it and not watered down in anyway.

Omg - I’m not sure I can put up with another 5 years of this to just get back to 15p.

This does worry me though because If we are working with VW, Toyota and Volvo and contracts are due as per safestocks and we are going to land good sized contracts with L3 and CAE in Aviation and fleet is going to continue to grow and improve margin due to cost savings are they really only suggesting the share price is going to move slightly or are they happy for Paul to just completely blitz his targets in the first two years say.

Or are these targets based only on currently announced business and doesn’t take into account any of the above?

It took less than 3 mths to go from 5p to 14p last year so I can’t get my head around why they think it will take 5 years if all of the above is actually going to happen?

Those targets have really put a dampener on this for me and I’m beginning to doubt whether all these contracts are actually going to materialise.

Yes, according to the programme notes a Matthew Avery from Thatcham is speaking at this event in Frankfurt on the 10th-11th

I hope so and hopefully something on the EU legislation as well because these developments are so important in my eyes to force OEMs and fleet companies to get a move on otherwise they will just keep delaying.

DMS needs to be mandatory like seat belts.

I saw the 13th Nov but I read that as an update on which cars have received what ratings rather than an update on developments with EuroNcap

Look it’s bleeding obvious why Baxter hasn’t sold just like I haven’t.

This share has been around 12p and although some people would like to sell now they can’t bring themselves to because they could have done at 12p and they are hoping that it gets back there so they don’t feel worse by not selling there in the first place.

Also the fact we now have more contracts than we did when the SP was at 14p makes it worse to stomach that we are still down here at 4.5p

Some people like myself are also heavily down again due to the SP plummeting from 12p to 3p so why would you sell to make a loss if you don’t have to.

We also have all the positivity that is spouted by the company, the broker, safestocks, people on here that we all still believe which sucks us in even more. Words like “imminent” Or decisions will be made by June19 keep people thinking it is going to happen within these timescales. Surely people can’t be surprised when this doesn’t happen and deadlines pass people aren’t going to get frustrated.

I won’t even start on the fund raise or the gift of free shares for non performance.

Just except that not everyone is going to be Mr Positive and except that some people get frustrated with what turns out to be exaggerated comments or out an out lies.

Just because people show their frustration doesn’t mean that they don’t believe in the long run things will be better.

Afraid I’m going to have to work that day, so it will have to be ***** on a public forum.

After 6 years of waiting and continual broken promises about contracts, targets etc.. I’m sorry that I’m still not Mr Positive - you obviously have more patience than I do

We are of course in the execution phase and have been for sometime so we should get numerous RNS detailing all these contracts we are executing with financials behind them.

Last year they notified us on the 9th October of the date for the half year report which was then released on the 16th Oct.

Running later this year obviously! I assume because there is no interesting/good news to announce and certainly nothing to get this share price to the £5k target they keep mentioning.

Going to have to consider writing this one off soon due to the inactivity of news and the share price itself. Can't see anything changing in the forseeable future

All so predictable :) well I’m in a win win situation now - if news comes and the SP does actually move towards 10p (£3 is delusional) I get rich and couldn’t care less what I or any of you said on here and if no major news is announced this calendar year then I get to say I told you so to all you lot who believe every word that Seeing Machines and it’s brokers say. Oh sorry shouldn’t forget to mention safestocks either.

Remember I did not say anything about believing long term in seeing machines I just stated things may take longer than we are expecting- it’s not unheard of that legislation gets delayed or announcements don’t come when promised or target figures don’t get hit - remember the 80,000 truck installs by June19. That broker report was wrong so how do we know the two aviation deals that Cenkos are talking about won’t be wrong?

Of course I hope I’m wrong because I would rather be rich so I can retire :)

Nevermind another capacitor shortage, let’s hope the imminent aviation news doesn’t go the same way as the imminent rail news did 2 years ago I.e. nowhere

Gone a bit quite on the euroNcap and EU legislation front as well - I thought both were supposed to be announcing more details in Sep/Oct?

If this gets delayed then expect OEM’s to delay further and we will still be waiting for RFQ’s by June20 a year after those 6 to be announced by June19 famous quote.

I’m going to stick my head up to get shot down by all of you, but I’m beginning to think nothing major is going to get announced this calendar year.

I think EuroNCap and EU legislation is so important to that timeline as well. I’m sure some OEM’s and fleet owners are holding off until requirements are clarified on both these fronts- once there is clear guidance and legislation forcing the timescales then we will see things move at speed in both auto and fleet. In theory with the amount of fleet vehicles on the road, whether it’s trucks, coaches or buses and the amount of new cars sold every year the DMS market will be massive.

Autonomous driving is years away and it will only take one massive pile up, which is caused by a sleeping Tesla driver and that will delay autonomous driving for a long time. Of course I hope that doesn’t happen but it makes me angry when I see this inconsiderate idiots asleep behind the wheel. Don’t they have any regard for other people’s lives.

Hopefully the legislation will force Tesla to stop this stupidity before something serious happens.

Another day gone, which means another day closer to an RNS whether that be in relation to Aviation, Auto or Fleet.

Let’s hope they are like buses so that we actually hold on to an SP rise rather than go up and then drift back down whilst we wait for another, which quite frankly is what has happened to the last auto extensions, national express and the aviation RNS last week.

So what do people think these deals could be worth. The CAT deal was £17.5m over 4 years (plus royalty payments).

A similar deal wouldn’t mean we would break even this year because we need a lot more than just over £4m to balance the books I would have thought.

Of course there are two potential deals apparently and it’s been stated our R&D costs are going to fall quite significantly in the second half of this year, plus our fleet services revenue is going to kick on which will help.

Could these be bigger than the CAT deal? Could they be in the region of £30m over 4 years? Two of those would be a nice £15m onto the bottom line this year which I would imagine would be close to getting us to breakeven this year considering the other elements mentioned above and in the interview Paul also talked about making significant cost savings as well on the fleet product.

Assuming it gets announced before Xmas only a max of 11 weeks to wait. If these drop before Xmas and there is positive news from the eu legislation and euroncap and we are lucky to get a new auto OEM win as well, surely the SP will hit 10p with all that positive news!

I hope this isn’t the imminent aviation news Paul was referring to because although it’s good and most welcome there is no revenue figures with it. And lets be honest we have been collaborating with emirates for two years now and not seen anything value wise. I was hoping for a mega contract with value attached for emirates as the imminent news. Going on previous we could be collaborating with Alaska for a long time before we see any revenue from it.

And that’s we can’t afford any delay with EuroNcap and the EU legislation- force them to do it quicker - that’s what I say! May not impact on GM as much but it will certainly make VW, Ford, Volvo and Toyota move a bit quicker!

Hi Schlemiel, thanks yes that's a far better article. By the way I wasn't agreeing with the first article I was just wondering whether it is a factor that stops would be investors from buying into SEE because they believe this stuff. Many of my friends believe fully autonomous vehicles will be here in less than 10 years I think a lot of people do unless they fully research into it - there are a lot of Elon Musk fans. I've had plenty of arguments with my friends explaining they won't be due to the reasons you have highlighted such as insurance, people like driving, snow covered roads etc... Trust me, I'm a firm believer but there is an element of risk with every share. I will be less concerned when news is finally announced about further OEM wins, aviation news, EuroNcap and our share price is back over 10p - let's hope that all happens before Xmas
