I think I’m in the same boat - just started dec13 rather than nov13

Days like today don’t help as SEYE have gone up by 14% on nothing and we are down circa 3% and now lower than we were before yesterday’s RNS! which doesn’t make sense. Just goes to show potential announcements mean very little as opposed to customer wins.

I’ve said it a million times the only way this is going to get back to june18 levels is releasing news about contracts with value attached. Perhaps start doing it based on models rather than OEM’s.

I’m still frustrated with the lack of aviation wins and I feel the MOU announcement may go quiet as well. I will be angry if we don’t tell the world about Ford and Merc when they are available.

I think Oct30th is significant - let’s see what they say and what forecasts they announce for this year and the year after.

Legislation is the thing that keeps me here, but if we haven’t announced new OEM wins through Qualcomm, or other deals based on the 3 pillar strategy, or announced an aviation deal by this time next year then I will start to worry and consider selling.

It’s time for SEE to start to show that it’s not just potential it’s real revenue coming in.

Oldfool, is that projected revenue for SEYE 68m SEK as their revenue last year I believe was 57m SEK which I think equates to 5m pounds?

Yes great news in terms of product development and maintaining a competitive advantage but the SP hasn’t shifted massively yet because it’s still all potential.

There is a high probability this will lead to customers but it is not guaranteed, just ask Betamax.

I truly believe the market isn’t going to shift this until it is widely known that we are in Ford, BMW, Mercedes and then contracts confirmed for new business for our DMS/OMS - or a license deal in aviation or a value for the recent MOU.

Many companies launch products with statements about the potential market, but it’s actual contracts and revenues that count.

The only thing SEE is missing are these customer wins and contract values - I’m sure they are coming

Am glad you posted that shallwe because I asked that question of the board last night as everyone now seems to be focussed on 2024 but I thought the eu leg that got agreed in Jan this year stated 2022 for new models and it was only the EuroNCap that has moved back to 2024

If that is the case then 2022 is still an incredibly important timeline for OEMs to hit as most will have new models launching at the end of 2022 or in 2023.

And also why launch a new model at the beginning of 2022 knowing that in 2024 you will have to update it with DMS - you may as well put it in the model if it’s launching at the beginning of 2022!

Ok can someone help me out on this date of 2024.

My understanding was that euroncap was scheduled for 2022 and due to covid that has been pushed back to 2024.

However I thought that eu legislation had been agreed in Jan20 before covid that stated all new cars would need to have DMS in 2024, but I thought it also stated that any new MODEL launched after summer 2022 needed DMS.

In other words if VW plan to launch a new Golf model in late 2022, early 2023 then that would need DMS in that new model, but the Passat (which let’s say they weren’t planning to relaunch until 2025) wouldn’t, until 2024 when they would have to put it in the current model for any new cars coming off production.

If not then surely 2022 is very important to us because most OEMs will be launching new models in late 2022 or during 2023 and let’s face it if they plan to launch a new model in early 2022 surely they would put DMS in it knowing that if they don’t they will have to revisit it to put it in only 2 years later to meet the 2024 regs for all cars.

I’m I talking rubbish about this summer 2022 date?

Nope I’m going to stay put- never been any good at trading anyway (or long term investments in AIM either come to think of it!)

It’s strange because I think as we get closer to legislation, new cars launched with our tech in etc.. I’m getting more impatient

Mmm.. interesting... if we get some news before results day which pushes the SP up a bit more I might consider selling just before results in case this is a plan to raise the SP so they can announce a placing on or shortly after results day at around 4p again to let some more ii’s in.

Big gamble I know but I can’t stomach going back into a loss again after finally being in profit after the last 6-7 months - lost count of how many times that has happened to me over the years.

Of course if I did sell they would probably release a stonking RNS rather than a placing one and the SP would triple in minutes.

Just hope it goes to my target price of 20p before the 30th Oct and then I can sell and not worry about it.

Yes I would hope for that as well. We can’t keep raising money to fund future things - our customers should help pay the costs - look at all the airlines we have been working with and so far nothing revenue wise to show for it. I think that’s why they have moved to license deals because you could end up spending a fortune and then nothing coming of it.

I still don’t get why nothing has been announced yet with L3, surely a deal must be sorted soon to meet these deadlines for the new simulators.

So given the tweet last week about the above was anyone expecting some news from the show? The show finished today and other than that tweet there has been nothing. Were Seeing Machines there? Why the #guardian in the tweet? If Seeing weren't at the show and nothing was happening that was relevant to SEE then why tweet about it?

Still hoping for some news before the 30th Oct on something whether its an update on the MOU, or a long awaited aviation deal, an OEM launch such as Ford, or a new OEM win. Surely something has got to come soon, even another large fleet win would be good.

They have to do something whilst at work, so why not try and convince a few more people to buy some shares :)

Hopefully they will produce an RNS soon that will give a very good reason to buy some shares

Ok found an article dated today that says last month production for the f150 ramped up and orders were being taken.

So it can’t be long then! I would assume some of that production is winging its way to customers now.

So how do people interpret that. We might get an RNS when production starts or when the first vehicle hits the road?

If it’s the later - remind me when is that supposed to be for the Ford F-150 and the Merc S class? - I need something to look forward to!

It was actually a serious question - if it is such a banker why has the SP dropped from 16p to 10p and hasn’t started to rise back again.

Yes I know there was a placing at 12p but if this is nailed on then surely it would have risen back up again by now rather than stay below 12p?

So clearly it is not guaranteed, especially in the next 2 weeks, but if it does then happy days

I don’t get this iamrich has said this is a certain 200% rise so why is the SP dropping this morning - why are people selling when this is a guaranteed 200% return?

Disappointed with the response to that RNS - surely that warrants some move up?
