Exactly that, I don't care about Ive buying anymore or collaborations that they announce even if they put money into the business like Collins and Mitsubishi - they are one off investments and are therefore not moving the share price.
The market wants to see large contracts, over $100m each, from these collaborations. We have only really had one and that is VW from Magna, but then even Magna has gone relatively quiet after that.
The only way for the market and II's to take note is to announce contracts. In the next 6 months before announcing cash breakeven I would like to see at least one large contract from each of Magna, Collins, Valeo, Mitsubishi.
You can have hundreds of collaborations and they are pointless if they don't lead to worthwhile contracts i.e. Waymo, Geotab, Eroad, Shell, Mobileye, etc.. etc..
If we get to July without any significant contracts then something is not right given the EU leg will only be 12 months away at that point and ncap only 6 months. Plus it will be yet another failure for PM to predict anything correctly given what he said in the Proactive Interview.
Having said that the only collaboration I am still slightly intrigued by is Samsung given Ken's LinkedIn post in December. It would be good to announce a contract off the back of that collaboration, which I assume is still ongoing given Ken's post.
