Spot on Dodge, no excuse for Q3 to not be issued, just a simple process of collecting existing figures from the books and pfew words of commentary. If you use the word shortly it mean a few days maximum otherwise say a weeks or months- this is something that is within the control of the company.

I suspect the minister might take comments from the workshop yesterday to tweak the Diamond mining policy before presenting to the cabinet- suspect the final policy will be released by the end of the week. in the mean time lets have q3 and T2.

We haven't got a concrete decision yet, I think that will come tomorrow or Wednesday after the cabinet has agreed, but I think AP knows the details and will announce the joint venture on Heritage shortly after the official announcement by Zimb. Government. This time I believe it will be shortly.

I think this selective policy in favouring those working with local communities could in practice be good for Vast, who have begun the 1st mover in this direction. If it was opened up to everyone then Vast would be at a dis-advatage to the big players in the diamond field.

Must74, I expect that something on Zimb mining policy would be issued, otherwise it makes no sense to have a high powered presentations in London repeating all previous platitudes. I also expect Q3 and probably Tranche 2 Mercuria next week probably towards the latter part of the week. Quietly confident next week is the beginning of the gradual rise in spread back to 0.6p levels and above.

The Zimbabwe Mining investment conference being held on Monday maybe the opportunity to announce the new diamond policy- can't imagine an opportunity like that not being utilised to say Zimbabwe is open for business.
Perhaps it's Vast's turn to do Flybe next week.

More than anything in Q3 commentary I want to see what progress there is towards reaching sulphides at PP.

Yes if the Zimb gov enacts new diamond policy- they need to get on with it, the minister of Mines speaking at the conference on Monday needs to back up his platitudes with hard policy decisions in order to convince the business community to invest in Zimb.
