BZT spends two years drilling, proving and permitting assets to be mined at a particular location and using a specified mine design. Perhaps, just perhaps, that is why they would start mining in one specified location - the only one for which they (now) have a Mine Licence ( No.240). Drilling to expand existing mineable reserves will continue LoM ( Life-of-Mine) and is standard industry practice. You start first and small, use the revenues to complete further drilling and mine extension. It is not difficult to understand. The lack of the ECC, as you put it is just your paranoia, though I concede that trust and confidence in CB is at a very low ebb. Why release a really good RNS like this one mid-morning on a Friday is quite beyond me.

Not sure how or why you conclude that new round of drilling is required. Nothing in the RNS about that. What they have clearly done is re-visit old and logged core plus grab samples as a desk study and assessed the revenue contribution based on current gold prices. Very different.

The permitting is largely concluded with the award of the ML and that is based on existing mineable resources, the SEIA, EMP etc., Not contingent or expecting any new drilling.

Why would you need to if you have an inventory including 190Kt of copper ? All good here unless you are RMC that is.

The ML has been issued but construction cannot commence until the ECC is granted. Usually this follows on quite quickly after an ML is issued based on Namibian precedent. In the mean time , suppliers, contractors and finance are doubtless being finalized. No problem I would imagine - with 190Kt of copper to exploit.

I cannot comment on what CB has said verbally but the recent RNS is factually correct.

Perhaps you are given to a glass half empty approach to life, but if you just hang around for a short time your patience will be rewarded. Same is true, I suspect, for the Ongombo ECC for African Pioneer though I cannot be certain as I have no inside-track.

True in both cases but whatever the background circumstances the outcome is good and shows faith in future prospects
