Every reason to believe that this is going to get very interesting. I cannot find another exploration/development junior with a cashflow as part of the business model. That unique element should surely command a re-rate once they have proven-up the words to actions.

I suspect 'significant' trading income as well but we shall see soon enough.

You are right and wrong at the same time. The ECC for Ongombo was indeed issued in April 2023 but in September of 2023 the company (AFP) applied for an extension to the issued ML. This meant that the clock started again for a revised ECC but without a need for a complete and new SEIA and EMP. Dunno why but it is a fact.

So, AFP has only been waiting for a compliant ECC for a year !! Yippee but it does partly explain matters. Also, I believe that the ECC is very close

Surely BZT will run this as their own project using debt funding ? The margins are excellent, the design complete and the contractors and funding in place, so I understand. Just waiting for the last pieces of paper.

This is surely going in the right direction. It is just a matter of due process that is delaying delivery of the formal paperwork. In Africa - any part of it- 'today' means 'tomorrow' and 'tomorrow' means 'whenever'. We just have to be patient.

On the upside it is clear that a lot of work is progressing in the background so we are not losing time. It is clear to me anyway that the project is properly funded otherwise how would they be achieving what they are.

Today's RNS was good in part - the Sound Engineering report is excellent but the mice have gotten into the RNS text and you can see where someone with poor writing and grammar skills has edited and screwed-up the sentence construction, syntax and logic. Probably a regulator is my guess but what would I know.

Overall I am relaxed and confident but I always have been 🥹

Never was a problem with the permitting then although I can understand why folks thought so. Even now the wording is tortuous but there cannot be a problem if initial mine design is coming to a close. This s becoming a real, real project.
